is it considered as Prepaid Broadband plan?

sometimes i get confused with the hourly/daily plan vs data volume plan.

another question:

what kind of Hotlink SIM cards are we getting nowadays? 2G or 3G SIM card?

if i have 2G SIM card, how do i activate the plan then? do i need to swap my sim for a newer 3G sim?

that's what i call a true gentleman.

anyone who has the time and effort to google through for the huawei code generator can do the unlocking in the matter of seconds. but nonetheless, its still "effort" and "time"
i can only blame my own laziness that brings me all the problems.

some1 got the link to this "Huawei code generator"? especially able to unlock MAxis' Huawei E1762 modem.

prorate on 1st month is a GOOD thing. this means u're not paying the full amount smile.gif

if it's only broadband service, there shouldn't be any stamp duty (i think it's called Service Tax-5%) cuz data usage is non-taxable.

yeah i know the rm150 upfront.

by the time i reached the 5th month, modem price already offset = FREE

so, in the end, it's still RM18 payable, monthly.

it's a good deal to try out maxisbb while getting the modem free tongue.gif

Yep, the malay guy with username "zwe...................." (can't remember since it's so long)
selling with such low price,  I just wonder how could he get it o.O.
I still has not unlock it yet, cause my wins 7 laptop can't seem to detect broadband usb's driver.

Only my pc can.

"you cant calculate the bill as RM18, since you already paid RM150 upfront. "
Makes no different while "rebate RM30x5"

modem from zwanvedder @ http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1293463

if i'm not mistaken, the modem is exactly as from Maxis but he'll give you the unlock code "open up" the modem biggrin.gif

Maxis' statement on the free modem + RM150 upfront payment = marketing gimmick only.

if u take off the modem price (RM150), monthly subscription will just be RM18 for the first 5 months.

i guess it's just the way to lure customers to sign up.
