New Crosshair II Formula user reporting (even though there is few AMD user here
 ) Just wanted to share something, I done Hypertransport speed in AM2 CPU in relation to graphics performance using 3DMark06 just now, despite what I read before, it does give some performance benefits. Here is the result, there are 3 setting, 400HT, 1200HT and 2000HT 400HT

bro ahsiah boycourt ASUS Crosshair II Formula...>.< yer, dowan fren u~ hahaha!!! yea, currently using this mobo for a year, bought it since July 2008~ hmmm, using Phenom 9850+ BE, overclock? vomit... only able to use its original N.O.S overclock or A.I overclock to maximum 10%... if not, keep on restarting... not reference heatsink, but ASUS Silent Square EVO... |

i used asus crosshair fomula II, athlon x2 7850 black adition,800mhz team elit ram,750Gb hard disk, 420w cooler must psu, went i want to oc my cpu cant...but if i used old mono i can my cpu 2.5 to 3.1 but this mono y i still cant oc

I overhead this motherboard not so good in terms of OC. That's the reason why this motherboard's retail price drop so much.

I think it's ur PSU's problem lor, izzit c/w your Cooler Master Centurion Casing?? Insufficient power supply gua?? u r using XFX 9800GTX, right?? try to change ur PSU to a true/ real power PSU and try again. should be OC'able gua. i assumed ur older motherboard dun have that XFX 9800GTX on it, right?? |

maximus II/crosshair II user reporting in.so far i only did few oc and the highest i get is 3.6ghz on my Q8400 proc.
not really a 'mobo slayer' just buy mobo for their looks,pcb design and architecture  .looking to find more of what i can do with my mobo  from all experienced user here.thanks. |
