For anyone who uses Crosshair II Formula, I noticed that it automatically raise the SB (chipset, not NF200 chip) voltage as the CPU frequency is up, the default is 1.1V but when I clocked to 3GHz it automatically raised to 1.4~V which is alarming, I put it at 1.1V and its rock stable and now the PC is much quieter and cooler. I can touch the chipset heatsink, its not as hot as before.
It is recomended you guys put the voltage to stock (lowest) value unless you know what you are doing.

QUOTE(rafeeq @ Jan 13 2010, 04:29 PM) hye....i ASUS crosshair II fomuler user here... i want to know what processer better for my mobo..coz i want to buy new processer ...coz i like to overclock...but i cant find any of review bout how far can overclock used phenom 955 or phenom 965 just now what prcsser is better for my platform...need help from u guy..n want to know..if one of u guy used same mobo with me n used 955 or 965 how far u guy can OC... I used the same mobo and Phenom 955BE CPU. You need to update the BIOS to the latest 2302 BIOS as the older 2202 have problems with CnQ. It could reach more than 4GHz, if you could manage to keep the temperature low and enough juice from power supply. So far I could get 4GHz but at most I just run at 3.8GHz 1.35V to keep the temperature low
