Yeap, that's about right.
If explained in words, it's simply: you'll need to be able to step on both with one foot, so they need to be side by side. |

![]() this is how i placed mine. and as u can see, its a troublesome thing to do. best bet is to go with 2leg hihat stand or a remote one. but i cant afford those for now. so, im just trying to live with it. lol |

there have been alot of new hihat stands to make it easier to position the slave pedal but i think this is both the most effective and interesting.

Seen that one at JS. It's unresponsive and has a lot of play.
There's the possibility of poor setup, or no setup at all - straight from the box... Let's just say I wouldn't be looking at it if I wanted something along that line. I would say that the other Gibraltar HH stands - no-leg or rotatable leg - are better choices. |

i second that. no leg at all?? it surely will wobble alot when playing. unless u dont use hihat pedal at all. for me, sturdyness is important and if i ever play double pedal, i will invest some money to buy 2-legged hihats.

i think hq pads are everywhere. u can try js music. there should have few with different sizes, and if im not mistaken, with 2 types of surface. should cost not more then 150. try giving them a call.

Or Bentley. Seriously they're everywhere. So it's impossible that you can claim that you can't find it.
Maybe I've misunderstood your description... could be some obscure model you're looking for. |
