hi. guess i'm facing the same problem with you too. the connection got connected then disconnected before one single SMS is loaded. it took me a long time to load then it got disconnected. not even one SMS. i don't really know what is the problem. i just successfully transferred the photos before. did you change the Phone Settings of PC Connection to Samsung PC Studio? if you did then i think you can consult the MENU GUIDE in the Samsung G400 box. HAHA... Sorry. Been busy to check out myself. tell me if you make it through! yeah.. all the best.

i check the menu guide ald~ but they don guide anything... even i have checked for the guide in pc studio but still the same. other g400 user also face the same problem like us. I can transfer contact and mms but cant load any message like wat u mention. hai~

hows the 3g function good?

is it true only msia warranty> no international?

any chance all these sms transfer problems are due to the new firmware? if so, has anyone receieved any proper response from samsung addressing this issue?

i'm about to get the phone in a few days now, and if the sms transfer problem never gets fixed... then well... man.... that's gonna be a pain in the ass

oh i havent mention bout this problem to samsung customer service yet coz i cant find this hp model in the complain form. so just give up 1st. havent try for the 3G function yet. when i have test it then will respond to u here

camera good. much much better than my 2nd phone K770i because it anti-shake. even if u'r walking, u can capture the pictures well and yet still very clear. if i'm walking, i capture pix with my K770i, sure will get blur. just that the color u c before u capture will b different with d color after u capture. get wat i mean? it gets slightly darker. hey y_owez. i see u been addicting to this phone for quite some time oredi? as wat i read from other forumer in here.

yup~ the colour before capturing it and after will slightly different, mostly it will become darker but stime do may get brighter. I have found out the shorcut for the camera option at the keypad. For example, 2 is for the size, 3 is for the photo quality, 4 is shooting mode and so on. i not sure whether other phone have it or not but i just know tat my previous K800i does have it lo.

Yup the camera has face detection, stime in dark condition, the camera still able to detect the location of face. Besides it also have smile shot which is smile detection. and a lot of supplementary features for camera like frame shot, mosaic shot, multi shot, smile shot and panorama shot.
For the panorama shot, u have 2 options either 3 shots or 4 shots. I thk the camera is very gd for a camera phone~

But i have some question, wat is the WDR( wide dynamic range), the iso, exposure metering about??? the exposure metering have 2 option, matrix and spot. Hope someone will tell me bout tat. Thanks ya~

ISO is the quality of the photo. usually in dark lighting, you have to use a higher ISO. just like the traditional film camera. when you buy the film, the promoter will ask you whether you want ISO200 or ISO400. ISO400 is usually good for night capturing. so i usually switch the ISO to max. haha. exposure metering if i'm not mistaken is regarding the exposure to light. if you own a digital camera, switch your digital camera to manual function. you should be able to find the function of Exposure. the higher the exposure, the brighter your image is. for WDR, not very sure what it is.

if i'm wrong at certain info, someone please correct me. =) because i don't really know the exact explanation of these 2 terms.
