QUOTE(chinmaan @ Jan 7 2009, 04:08 AM) ISO is the quality of the photo. usually in dark lighting, you have to use a higher ISO. just like the traditional film camera. when you buy the film, the promoter will ask you whether you want ISO200 or ISO400. ISO400 is usually good for night capturing. so i usually switch the ISO to max. haha. exposure metering if i'm not mistaken is regarding the exposure to light. if you own a digital camera, switch your digital camera to manual function. you should be able to find the function of Exposure. the higher the exposure, the brighter your image is. for WDR, not very sure what it is.
if i'm wrong at certain info, someone please correct me. =) because i don't really know the exact explanation of these 2 terms. but the exposure meter just have 2 options only wo... tat is matrix and spot...between these 2 options, i cant see which one has higher value wo~

A618 i think comes with TV tuner, 0.3mp VGA camera, shake function, full 2.2" touch screen, handwriting recolonization (but they use a format which i'm not familiar with) nice vinyl skin like K800, SUPER LOUD speakers and UI which is slightly better then old china phones. all for less then RM400 after conversion.

i didn't buy it for the 0.3mp. it's the dual sim active line and tv tuner that i'm more interested in. plus it's dirt cheap.
i'm still using the G400 as main phone though. gotten so used to it. but loading 2560*1920 pics in the album can be very laggy. thinking of downsizing shots to 1600*1200 for better browsing/transfer speed

another thing i'm quite not satisfied is loading of photos. the more photos you keep in memory card or phone, more hang the phone gets. i think it's bcuz of d file size for each photo. cuz i'm using the best quality. so one photo is around 1mb+
so must be very patient with it.

1600*1200 is quite smooth but 2560*1920 lags like mad even with less then 10 pictures. also, higher mp doesn't mean better looking pictures.
