actually i bought a proc from him before... his might not give u the best negotiation service, but his packaging is good enuf for me... u donwan ur tx2 to pecah like someone did in buy club doh.gif

Stress tested the HDT-SD964 with S&S kit and uncured AC MX-1 on Xeon 3350 (Q9450) @ 3.4Ghz (1700FSB)... idle temp abt 48C and load temp is 75C..

hows the temps? sweat.gif sweat.gif

hmm..not really sure...it seems a lil high for me...but it also depend on how much vcore u pump in....try ask in overclocker united?

yes u can use on cm690 no problem...

btw, if u wana fit it on dfi dk u will have to mount it this way...

u can mount it the other way round too...but u will have to bend a few fins (pics stole from somebody tongue.gif)

bending a bit wont be a problem for me.. as i prefer 2nd way of mounting the hsf.. thanks tkh_1001.. but, when thinking again,the 1st also not bad sine cm690 got fan on top of its casing tongue.gif

Hmm im using the same case too.. planning to change my hypertx to this xigmatek.
This cooler can fit to my p5n-e sli tak?

since here got no thread especially for xigmatek products, dun mind if i ask here sweat.gif anyone here has tried the xigmatek apache? thinking of getting this to replace my intel stock cooler. searched for reviews around the new but don't have any. it's a new one from xigmatek rite?

but sd964 n s963 is a proven good cooler with very nice price though.... only loses to s1283 by a few c only thumbup.gif

i not so expert in cooling stuff yet. haha. still have a lot to learn from you guys here tongue.gif
was kinda attracted to it due to it's affordability. saw a few people selling in garage sales.
izit meant for normal PC or htpc? since it's quite low profile and light. read somewhere, said that this might be competing with AC's new low profile cooler.

ask ckhoong to get one for you to review thumbup.gif thumbup.gif laugh.gif

he already didnt sell xigmatek stuff for very very long liao... to me the apache looked the stock heatsink for intel extreme proc laugh.gif

yeah..now that you've mentioned it, it does look like the extreme proc heatsink. one thing i'm surprised about is the weight. 285g only? lighter than intel stock cooler wor..i thought normally aftermarket coolers much heavier..heheh

mind telling me ur spec? what thermal paste are u using? imo ur temp is a quite normal if u are using the stock TIM.

its kinda easy actually. when u are about to screw the sskit, gradually screw each of the screw all at the same time.

im using tuniq TX2.okay,noted.I guess i have to re screw it again.Im running 3.6ghz(1.400V) at the moment.
