@sotong168
i'm using it for my E6700.... bought at Robyncom for RM120... at idle, no matter the fan speed its almost at ambient temp of 28-30C... (my room's air cond is busted at the moment so cant test at air conditioned ambient temp) on load, max temp is 45C, compared to my Hyper TX which was 65C.. and this is with the supplied TIM, since its temporary didnt bother to waste my limited supply of MX1. ridiculously good cooler, comparable temps with a friend's WC system.. plan to lap it, then use it on the Quad Xeon + p45 combo later.. fan is rather noisy at max speed tho i picked this over the 120mm variants simply because those will definately not allow me to close my casing door... @pikacu don remember the exact price.... it was a few months back.. sorry bro i only remember that it was cheaper than the MX2 i bought from them @ RM40 This post has been edited by 00007kel: Jun 3 2008, 12:43 PM |

sure ^^
E6700 @ 3.00Ghz @ HDT-S964 with supplied TIM Load temp on both max fanspeed and min fanspeed. 4C difference only... come to think of it not worth the noise increase (its raining now, so its probably as close as air cond temp as i can get 1st time doing temp screenie so correct me if its wrong.. newb hehe.. QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Jun 3 2008, 07:53 PM) imo its normal for me as fan speed doesnt affect much. btw, i think u should stress a lil longer. maybe around 15min but from i see, ur result are quite good too. here they are.. yeap the temps are abit higher at 48C max fan and 52C min fan... same thing.. 4C difference.. Stress tested the HDT-SD964 with S&S kit and uncured AC MX-1 on Xeon 3350 (Q9450) @ 3.4Ghz (1700FSB)... idle temp abt 48C and load temp is 75C..
