NO telco can give u 3.6mbps for 3G broadband...
The term MAX. speed here is >200 kbps if downloading using IDM try to browse the earlier posts, u will see the screenshot of this by forumers Normal here is about > 1mbps if tested via SpeedTest. Lot of examples that u can find at SpeedTest on this BUT, it depends on the location where u are testing it. Not that i don't warm u first; some places will get better signal than others |

yup... speed is too subjective and the Download Hosting Server will plays a role as well
whether u r using P2P, direct download will contribute to the downloading experience as well I have used Maxis BB and UM at my Puchong place. So far, my vote goes to UM as I have dumped my Maxis aldy |

Can anyone verify if the recent service extension to Ipoh covers Batu Gajah as well? hearsay it have covered the ipoh town center (but a few of the small areas only)Added on February 28, 2009, 4:52 pm QUOTE(anep @ Feb 28 2009, 01:43 AM) how ur connection when in UMTS? if my connection in UMTS means i cant do anything.. even login yahoo messenger well, i reckon the signal of the UMTS, HSDPA as shown in the ZTE software is not reliable for UMwhen u see the UMTS, try to minimize and maximize it again; u will see HSDPA again speed wise, it's the same for me. no disconnection issue This post has been edited by lelynx: Feb 28 2009, 04:52 PM |

Correct me if i am wrong. abt USB modem, any users here try connecting wif Huawei modem, if yes how to do the settings. i tot of buying the celcom promo usb modem at rm399 as a backup modem juz incase my ZTE MF622 burns out from my friend's sharing, the Huawei modem can become quite hot if it was used for long period; as compared to ZTE Added on February 28, 2009, 5:50 pm QUOTE(abcsoup @ Feb 28 2009, 05:32 PM) hi i m quite interested with umobile wireless broadband service. too subjective... it really depends...comparing maxis, celcom digi and umobile, which one is better? one of my friends using celcome wireless broadband, when the weather condition is not dat good such as rainy or clowdy day,the bandwidth will drops from 3g to gprs whcih is sloww like shit.and he needs to restart the usb modem such as pull in and out once disconnectivity occurs. normally will only take 1 day to process the application if u do it at their Cust. Service Center
rm88/month was not finalized yet. as Digi 3G may play a role in determining the final fee. u know lah, competition. |

for 3G broadband, it will not roam to Celcom
it's only applicable for call service only, not data service (3G broadband) |

just buy urself a flashed usb modem...
the setting with UM or DG is almost the same... most likely it's just the APN and dialed no is different only... one thing about DG is that it's still new u will not know if they are giving the same speed after 1-2 months later when more ppl are using it later This post has been edited by lelynx: Mar 4 2009, 04:16 PM |
