I also updated to v2.00. Took me less than 30 mins only. Luckily no problems during update.

I also faced the installing thing everytime I start up, then it tells me unauthorized software found in mass memory. So I just uninstall it and reinstall.

well..i din really backup into mass memory...i reinstall it fr pc everytime jz to ensure tt da system is running fine...but if da firmware do bring major improvement...then i think is worth for it to reinstall n backup everyhing

A tiny question. For Nokia maps application, if I select never use network usage, it won't auto use or connect GPRS right?

Was a little worried about the cost there...

Any info would be helpful.



Btw, I tried garmin mxt already, nice but laggy and also it cant detect any gps device.

yup...don worry...as long as u din enable it..then it wont connect to ur 3g or edge or gprs...

regarding garmin..mine is working nicely without any problem...is not lagging as well...did u install properly

yea...if u disabled it...then it somehow wont utilise the network (not sure whether its gsm, gprs or edge) so faster lock the satelites...so it doesnt use up ur credits....

i also have garmin mobile xt installed...its working nicely...when u're saying its laggy...do u mean the map is slow in updating ur movements?
if that is ur concern, i would say that this works for every gps device...they do have a little lag time because the device updates ur movement..

As for garmin XT I did follow the proper installation. It can boot and all but just couldnt detect any gps device. LoL, so I uninstall it instead.

Will just use nokia maps since it can disable internet connection.

Actually when I zoom in it lags abit, also when I scroll around the map it lags abit also. Its not much, but usable. Garmin maps obviously is more detailed and looks better than nokia maps.

N95 8GB if set wallpaper on standby screen, its not in fullscreen wallpaper? I tried but its not fullscreen.

it is the theme problem which i dislike too. by solving this, u can use other software to create a theme with the wallpaper picture u want. u can search these software in download! when u're in menu.

once u install da best taskman, u hold on da menu button n it should appear a screen where it shows u wat application is opened, then ur ram, memory n all those stuff...it will also ask for registration code as well..if u really din c anything then i suggest u to reinstall da application

Yep, have to play around wif themes. Lots of free themes out there, for you to modify and play around wif.
