QUOTE(seather @ Apr 22 2008, 01:02 AM) Just updated my firmware to v20 over the weekend. Gave me lots of headache wallanney how complicated it can be. so lucky yu did survive the whole process. if i might to update mine in the future, would definitely ask for your advice man 1. Backup my phone memory to PC.. Slow but steady 2. Install v20 firmware .. OK with 1st try 3. Tried to restore phone memory from PC - hanged at 63%... repeated a few times.... no use 4. Panic....... Because my phone book is in the PC backup... Luckily the phone book was restored 5. Backup the phone book to mass memory and reset the phone. Reinstall all apps and tweak the phone configurations again.. Took me half a day 6. Tried to reactivate my n-gage games that I bought... Don't let me enter activation code 7. Tried a few of things (including reseting the phone again I hope the next firmware update won't be this tedious.. really learned a lot about my phone this weekend |

QUOTE(ITnooby @ Apr 24 2008, 09:59 PM) Hi all, yeah mine also like that. but the seller told me it was nothing wrong with the battery and its power should last for days. My N95 8GB phone battery can be fully charged from empty to full in 1 hour. Is this normal or some problem to my battery? The battery indicator bar also inaccurate, it always hold long on full bar or -1, -2 (from full). But once the level indicator reach half bar, then it is so fast drop to 2 bar or 1 bar. |

QUOTE(intune @ Apr 25 2008, 11:36 PM) After 2 days of use i can honestly say the keypad sux! haiya how come bro? the keypad is the one i love most. very soft and easy to press. have tried other nokias as well but N95 8Gb has proved that text messaging can be a really fun and fast thing to do on a mobile. as for the GPS, I'm not into maps features and it has caused me nearly rm10 of credits deduction in just few minutes of usage. Everythin else abut the phone is great.. The Builtin A-GPS also damn slow..sometimes can detect most time cannot.. (take ages) just wonderting wht the GPS need additional network connection e.g GPRS. ?? please someone the GPS feature to me. |

QUOTE(mstr583 @ Apr 28 2008, 10:01 PM) Phone line been stolen...cause me cannot online almost a month.. Added on April 29, 2008, 2:32 pm QUOTE(leekweehui @ Apr 28 2008, 12:03 PM) anyone know how to connect my laptop to internet using this phone as modem? when i click on one touch access, it says no modem found. in case it says no modem found, you have to recheck the usb cable whether it's properly plugged. wait for the phone to detect the connection and choose PC suite on your phone. once you have done with it, open pc suite application on your computer then choose One Touch Access. Remember to adjust the settings by choosing the correct N95 8Gb USB modem and then your network operator from the list. finally click the green tick icon and you may find yourself connected to the internet. if these steps cant even connect you, why dont you refer to your data simcard provider and speak your problem out.
