Yea the 3D tones software comes with the phone. If you select options>play tone, you can listen to the effects.
But I notice the sms tone doesnt work, only on ringing tones..kinda ghey... So I was wondering if there is 3rd party software which works for both sms and ringtone. Btw, the 3D tones sounds really nice...Like in theater effect. I love it. This post has been edited by SimonsayZ: May 3 2008, 11:47 PM |

I also updated to v2.00. Took me less than 30 mins only. Luckily no problems during update.
I also faced the installing thing everytime I start up, then it tells me unauthorized software found in mass memory. So I just uninstall it and reinstall. |

A tiny question. For Nokia maps application, if I select never use network usage, it won't auto use or connect GPRS right?
Was a little worried about the cost there... Any info would be helpful. Btw, I tried garmin mxt already, nice but laggy and also it cant detect any gps device. This post has been edited by SimonsayZ: May 4 2008, 11:21 PM |

QUOTE(WiLyi @ May 5 2008, 12:35 AM) yup...don worry...as long as u din enable it..then it wont connect to ur 3g or edge or gprs... Aight, thx for the info. regarding garmin..mine is working nicely without any problem...is not lagging as well...did u install properly As for garmin XT I did follow the proper installation. It can boot and all but just couldnt detect any gps device. LoL, so I uninstall it instead. Will just use nokia maps since it can disable internet connection. QUOTE(D-Zire @ May 5 2008, 07:26 AM) yea...if u disabled it...then it somehow wont utilise the network (not sure whether its gsm, gprs or edge) so faster lock the satelites...so it doesnt use up ur credits.... Actually when I zoom in it lags abit, also when I scroll around the map it lags abit also. Its not much, but usable. Garmin maps obviously is more detailed and looks better than nokia maps.i also have garmin mobile xt installed...its working nicely...when u're saying its laggy...do u mean the map is slow in updating ur movements? if that is ur concern, i would say that this works for every gps device...they do have a little lag time because the device updates ur movement.. Just wanna share a theme I just created for N95 8GB users. Its Inoue Orihime from Bleach anime theme using default icons.
Remember to set your date to 2007 before install. If it prompt not compatible, don't worry because it still works and can be uninstalled. So no problems using this theme. Hope you all like it, LOL. [attachmentid=464432] |

I tried a search on the activation code for ngage. Though pirated is not allowed here, I will just say that to activate the game it needs online activation so piracy is no-no for now. LOL...
I will stick with my console gaming for now... |

QUOTE(yawfu1512 @ May 19 2008, 03:58 AM) Hi Guys,I have some problems in using Garmin Mobile XT... I also faced this problem and gave up using it. Instead I went to install Nokia maps 2.0 beta. need some help here.. I've done every step in dzi921's post teaching how to install Garmin MXT But in the last step, when i go in to 'Remote GPS', I can only choose between "connection allowed to Garmin GPS devices only' and 'Pair new GPS'. Both options also doesnt work as our GPS is a built in one. I dont have the option of selecting built-in GPS as in dzi921's post. Did i install it wrongly? Anyone facing this problem too?? Im N95 8GB user too. Thank you guys. |
