sms tones doesnt use .mid..sms tones can be .mp3 as well...

well for me...i dun really notice any difference in setting 3d tones for songs....i wonder why...hmm...

yeah same goes with my case. tried many times changing the sound effects and heard the actual tone only

then if applied to ringing tones?

in my case, couldnt find the difference.

i try to update my firmware to 20.0.016. i fully charged my phone. n then i follow all the instruction in software updater. but halfway of updating the nokia software updater says that connection to my phone is lost..
now my phone went dead. is there anyway to fix it? or its time to visit nokia care center??
and wats the price if i take it to care center for flashing?? my set is AP set.

Ask for help, I need a free voice navigation GPS urgently. Forumer are always talking about Garmin Mobile XT, how can I get a free (*ahem) version? Any serial number needed? Do I need to sign it?

Any ladies/gentlemen can provide procedure for me to go with? Also, I saw that I would have to download map in malsing.com in order to have a complete set of GPS in my phone? I am using N95 8GB model as well.

connetion lost? hmm...then have u tried to update again? as in start from step 1? coz for my unit...i experienced the same thing as well...but then i restarted the updating process and the update manager ask me to remove the battery for recovery process which i ignore...then wait awhile say like 3 to 5minits then process will continue itself....its kinda bugging and problematic to update to version 20...previous versions were very easy to update...hope nokia can rectify this problem for future updates....

emr how come u guys din notice any difference...erm y not try to change ur sound trajectory n reverberation...u guys try to set ur 3d ringing tone effects on, then sound trajectory to circular n reverberation to cave....im sure u cud hear da difference...but make sure da 3d tones effect is turn on

i cant start restart it anymore. coz i cant turn on my phone now.. when i press the power button wont start up. it just turn on a while with blank background and then turn off again.. the NSU canot detect my phone anymore

yes.. cant turn on.. when i turn on its totally blank. n den auto off again.

then u hv to try hard reset ur phone...hold green button, 3, * buttons at the same time and press power button on until you see the Nokia hands logo...if u success to turn on ur phone then later u try to backup ur content of ur phone memory n do a factory reset by keying #7780# at da standby screen..it needs to key in a security code...which default is 12345

did it few times liao.. stil same. it stil auto turn off even when i hold de 3 keys

..then i really hv no idea dy...i think da only thing to do is send in to da nokia care center...or u try to google arnd n c if there's any solution

haiz lidat GG ad lor mayb i bricked my phone ad.. my set is AP (telstra).. so any1 noe how much to fix a brick phone at nokia service center??

try MOSH , guys i have some problem after updating firmware , everything goes fine only that few appl has gone and i notice it can be install on the app manager...

but the only problem is whenever i restart my phone and start back it has the installing thing coming out and i need to wait about 10~15 min to wait it gone...

and this installing is for my app it trying install ... anyone know how to disable it?

try deleting the apps and reinstall it back?
