QUOTE(saf @ Apr 18 2008, 06:57 AM) do u guys see any differents in new software ....i dont see any differents? i have just upgrade to latest version QUOTE(leekweehui @ Apr 18 2008, 10:21 AM) the changes are more like minor improvements that makes a better phone even better...so don't expect anything drastic except for da ASR thing which i finally found how to enable it... its under setting>general>personalization>display>rotate screen so u have have two options.. stick with whatz worked for u ( y fix it if it ain't broken) or u cud have the latest and greatest firmware if u tired off reinstalling each app individually after formatting... den check dis out (i've not used it yet btw) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and someone brave enough can try the firmware hack on this version to check out if it still works with this version... note: risk of damaging u're phone is very high This post has been edited by greddy: Apr 18 2008, 10:41 AM |

With this feature, you will not need Nokmote or RotateMe anymore! It will be integrated on your Nokia N95 8GB
[/quote] 1)nokmote got many bugs...useless anyway (for me) 2)Automatic Screen Rotation (ASR) = Rotateme.........not NOKMOTE. So to some, they might still need Nokmote. Added on April 18, 2008, 3:37 pm QUOTE(greddy @ Apr 18 2008, 02:01 AM) est about 15mins... u mean n95 8gb got memory card? I tot it's built in memory 8gb...wut i did was made a full backup(excluding memory card)... den i format the phone *#7370# (restore to factory setting/like new) den format memory card (backed it up earlier separately copy/paste) den upgrade... 15mins or less... phone restarted about thrice... done... restored only contact and msg using content copier nw i'm installing the 3rd party apps and copy/paste files from memory card backup(only image/vids/sounds) This post has been edited by al3xband: Apr 18 2008, 03:37 PM |

al3xband,
i meant the built-in 8Gb memory la... its jus that i referred to it as memory card so that not to be confused with in-built memory(ROM)... This post has been edited by greddy: Apr 19 2008, 04:47 PM |
