Line Clear.. just go to Chulia Street.. follow till the end of the road and you will come out to Penang Road. At the junction of Chulia Street and Penang Road, look to your left. Line Clear is just 2-3 shops away. To know you're in the right direction, Odeon cinema would be right opposite you.

Line Clear's nasi kandar is nice.. very spicy.. but I still find the one in Gelugor better.. Or maybe you should try the one beside Masjid Kapitan Keling.. heard that's the best of the best.

wanna ask which accomodation is the cheapest with good facilities and located at strategic place? to stay nearby the beach or town is better/convenient?

depends...u want to enjoy the beach...stay at batu ferrenghi..if you wanna go for shopping/clubbing stay at town arealor...if u wanna njoy both u can stay at 2 diff place oso!..There are a lot of service apartments available at Batu Ferrenghi...not badd..bayu emas,sri sayang etc~

the beach in penang is nice..i love it so much wub.gif

dont to go the beach alone at nite...after 12pm...in turns into a real scary thing....its darn dark and you can see couples kissing romantically and some taking advantage on one another shakehead.gif ..specifically behind paradise hotel brows.gif

so im going for holiday with gf to penang..so to happen my friend want to meet his gf studyin there..but its her 1st sem so she also dunno ...if were ought to stay at butterworths..whats a good n cheap hotel easy to access bukit mertajam,bridge n ferry station..

any reccomended hotel near to gurney drive ? prefer cheap !

plan to get gurney hotel... but ... accomodation for 3d2n plus return plus flight local transport is juz way off my budget !!!

any reccomendation ? prefer city la ... if can try both beach n city ... tats jus an IF! well... gt any car rental on d island ?!

lol gurney hotel? just take Sunway Hotel lah.. walk out then got New Lane to eat.. every where also just walking distance away

car rental.. not recommended.. suggest you take a bus

i stayed at cititel, good location because we could just walk out to eat the famous kopitiam, and there was the night market, and the clubs were also down the road tongue.gif can get drunk then walk back to the hotel tongue.gif someone asked about good clubs ya? mois is for the younger kids, SS is for the working class. whatever you do, don't go to chill out at gurney hotel sleep.gif

i'm going off to penang next month...plan to stay in oriental hotel but my fren says it is chick hotel tongue.gif so she recommend good hope inn which is near gurney...

wat you guys think??...i'm on budget and plan to stay near gurney coz i feel i can get food very easy there and can go shopping near-by since gurney plaza is there...

depends on what you wanna do.. if for me, i will stay near Georgetown. most tourist attractions are around there anyway.. if good hope inn.. then the temples are near

yeah true ... dpend how much!!! actualli i hav no idea where and how much to rent a car in penang!

riding trishaw or taking taxi a slightly not worth it when our group is large ...
but taking bus dono its schedule... any other ways?

plan to stay in gurney hotel... do u think its worth it ?

oh btw i kena ban from mar vista. cant stay there anymore. and can recommend me good chinese food restaurant in penang ? table for 12 , good dishes, reasonable pricing, money not object, non halal, no hotel food pls and most importantly must be authentic penang. seriously, money not an object but i dont want the fatt *** cheong and all that. i wan real ori penang fried, penang taste.
