- well the trial system should work against the fake gn drives. the thrones are one for example. problem is tieria is unlinked with veda, no trial system loolololol

full HD raw is definitely much more satisfying

trans-am increases the gundams specs to aprox. 3 times from the original specs, which obviously includes attacking abilities and firepower. if you've seen ep 23, virtue used his trans-am for the gn-bazooka to inflict ground zero to anything in its frontal arc instead of having increased speed runnin around like the rest.

the preview did mentioned/hinted every gundams destroyed, so yea prolly new gundams next season for more milking from bandai.

now that you think about it... patrick's GN-X didnt got entirely blown away... so this makes sense? though the entire upper torso/part got blown away and there ARE smokes/particles/flames comin from the mid-section of the torso... if that guy friggin survived that shit... serious f***en hands down plot-luck-armor. :/

i would blame tieria for:

1) not being lockon stratos
2) gettin greedy aiming 2 guys at once, but he did a good job at that ill give it (well he have to, patrick shot got off too, so if the other gn-x didnt got shot and went boom, its gonna rip nadleeh's crippled form apart)

just like few inches and patrick's death is guaranteed >.>

season 2 for the lulz. though with new gundams, doubt gn drive overflag would do shit. lol

Added on March 28, 2008, 5:40 pmhis flag is only faster in static movements (eg: a straight up rush to rape, like the scene vs throne eins) probably due to propulsion based movement and overflags are given a MAJOR boost on that department. but when it comes to acrobatics, gn drives gravity defying attributes would be better. unless the gn drive overflag retains BOTH propulsion based drive AND gn drive, i doubt it would be completely better than exia, its more of a give and take thing. but then again, they could have both systems, or somehow plot up the specs, who knows.

i think hes trying to say that using beam SABERS/SWORDS are illogical due to the constant beam output. unless you have unlimited source of power to constantly have the beam output maintained (note that *almost all* beam sabers in *almost all* gundam series are stronger than ranged weapon counterparts) to have it actually be able to cut through [insert gundam type metal/armor here], its pretty much senseless to even use such weapons. the only weapon that would be logical would be vibration/saw type? (the one patrick used in episode one, or michael trinity's side arm outside of gundam) as it requires WAY LESS energy output, and its basically a normal weapon, cept its damage greatly boosted due to the rapid movement of the blade/weapon to penetrate/grind through armor much easier.

lets just assume both weapon and armor are of the same material, logically, neither would be breaking anything. (as in the sword wont just slice through the armor and the armor will still be, well, in all its armoric form) of course in due time, the sword would slowly dent the armor, perhaps eventually penetrating it due to the use of force while the armor is just being a passive element.

so take armor being side a, and sword being side b. now, the only way for either 1 side to gain the upperhand, which is for a, to repel b, and b, to penetrate a, logically you will need additional elements.

for a, it would be special coatings, or maybe a type of force field.
for b, it would be attacking method/force, coating, or even blade design/mechanism.

so in gundam00's instance, it could be that the blade is using somesort of a saw/vibration mechanic (was it ever explained in manga/anime? afaik no so its all just assumptions) that causes the blade to perhaps travel back and forth in a saw like movement, and with force applied, it should easily penetrate through the same element of armor.

and if you havent noticed, the materials? CB gundams uses are of different (assumingly higher quality/durability etc) material than the 3 factions. the moment say b is > a be default, you dont even need any special mechanisms to assist it to penetrate a. (although exia's blades are already equipped with such feature) So that could explain why his blades saw through MS's of the 3 factions like a hot knife on butter.

now, if your gonna be worried about resharpening the knife, put it this way, if an entity is able to spend billions/millions for mobile suits, weaponry, and what not, what it is to them, on just resharpening blades? or hell, even replacing them? afaik throughout the story of gundam00, exia carries 7blades altogether (beam and conventional blades) and time to time either loses his blades or it was thrown to his enemies (the GN beam daggers is the obvious blade he uses as projectiles) so just from that, its pretty safe to assume replacing a few blades isnt a big deal for them. remember dynames? he got trashed and they replaced the whole unit altogether (at least thats what i understood, they said it has to be replaced entirely at the dock because repairs cant be done)

neena/nina is already a clone/newtype/cyborg just like tieria and ribbons/livonze. lol
remember the time she hacked/accessed veda in tieria's beloved veda console room?

- Alejandro's MS would be good if it isnt retarded gold, and having a better head/face design other than the generic grunt crap. if you look his back view, it actually looks pretty damn good/detailed minus the color, but once you turn him infront, its just total facepalm.jpg

Added on March 31, 2008, 4:54 pmgraham scene was probably forced, but it still good enough. overall, better to have him out on 25 than totally delaying 6 months for his appearence on s2 disappointing a lot of 'gar'ham fans

Regarding the fight performance, you have to take note of the below:

- previous episodes where graham was owning "gundams" were against RANGED specialized gundams (lockon/eins), and just to be fair, he didnt really own lockon minus the endurance battle (lol 15hours?) and the part where he sliced off eins' arm, eins was caught offguard, and he disarmed him AND using eins' weapon to slice off his arm (as he prolly know his own beam sabers would prolly not do enough damage)

- previous episodes he also used straight charging approaches in his fight minus some strafings which is only effective against direct attacks especially ranged attacks when you can see it coming and anticipate a dodge and lets not forget that previously his overflag uses propulsion based over GN drive anti gravity based movement hence his charging speed (or static straight flight) is actually faster than most if not all GN drive based gundam and just that alone provides a shock factor against his enemy (calvary charge from old times comes into mind or the famed blitzkrieg)

- exia is purely a melee based gundam and even post trans-am, would still provide a significant challenge as the overflag werent designed to be melee based units after all. and given the performance in episode 25, i doubt one could pull the "setsuna is a bad pilot and graham is an elite pilot and its IMPOSSIBLE" bullshit anymore.

note: i rate animes based on overall quality such as plot/storyline, seiryuus, graphic, sound etc etc. mainly the "general appeal".
