was goin through proton-edar.com anyone noticed there's a baseline model for satria neo 1.6 manual quoted at 43k? any ideas what one will be missing goin for this model?

last month I went to Proton HQ COE but the salesman told me that he know nothing about this version....only M-Line and H-Line are available...no news for 1.6 B-Line...I'm also looking for this version...hopefully anyone or any Proton salesman here could provide any info...TQ TQ....

I think next year they will come out with Satria Neo GTi with Campro CPS 1.8, with new bodykit...

Dude...Campro so far is only 1.6 and 1.3, I never heard of a 1.8

they gonna come out with satria neo gti type R with campro 2.0 twin turbo ...

According to kcng of Campro inherent problem, I think 1.8L and 2.0L wouldn't be of Campro lineage. So it might be some larger engine from Renault I guess. (I don't think Mitsubishi is happy to 'lend' us their MIVEC.)

As for Proton, the easiest way for them to add variation to the current Campro capacity is modify the stroke.

Reliability wise.....heard Campro stroke to 1.8 is not a good move...not too sure about it...

renault engine wont be in proton anymore , malaysian just cant accept it .

im also hoping that neo will came out in 1.8 and neo GTi or noe type-R with 2.0 enjin..

i think the engine is coming

1.3 1.5 1.6 engine are usually engineered under one category .

unless they use 1.6 1.8 family as their engineering spec , if not 1.3-1.8 scoop is too wide for the engineering .

Proton actually designed all the proton gen2 and satria neo with the full campro in mind . my brother's frined was the people in charge of the gen2 development .

yes, i agree with u..
satria neo R3 is ady out... with normal CAMPRO 1.6 + fined tuning = 140hp...
i hope to add the CPS + VIM but so far, heard the news that it is totally another diff system..
and heard that CAMPRO 1.6 if it is overheated, then u have to change engine head...
tats y CPS + VIM have another cooler on it...
correct me if i m wrong...

but i think, neo GTi wont be so soon as their development of the engine take years...
1.8 & 2.0 maybe in 4 yrs time?! for the Proton MPV as well... maybe...
