Some people are too strayed away with their lust and wet thoughts that they think Chinese girls would simply fall for them.

DREAM ON!

english ed for me

erm no offense but i have talked to chinese ed-very limited convo and they are not really witty, humourous or knowledgeble in worldly stuff,if you know what i'm saying. like philosophy, psychology, and up to date stuff, yeah..they are kinda lacking in that area. I don't necessarily mean education. But just common stuff..for instance: i once said that guys like to see hot girls as eye candy. and she did not know the meaning of eye candy. something like that-common usage of terms are not recognized by them.

and yeah on the chinese ed- hokkien and cantonese speaking girls tend to speak very roughly. like the way and how they pronounce their words, very rough and not ladylike. girls who speak english are more proper and listenable biggrin.gif

hmmm.. interesting. from my experience with both,

Pros of English Ed - better educated in general, has an educated opinion on things and can blend in with different crowds much easier. Communication is much easier as well coz everything can be described in words. much easier for friends and family to accept and interact with

COns of English Ed- can tend to be very argumentative because of a belief that she ONLY is right, may tend to be very $$$ dependant (read: shopping!!!:, may be too open, believes that she is above any housework, and from my experience, not as committed to a relationship or working for a future with the other half.

Pros of CHinese ED (speaks little or no english, and very little written english) - very understanding (understands that work gives her other half alot of stress, understands that she needs to look after her guy when he's sick, not feeling well etc), trys to work out a good future for the couple, understands that a couple needs to work together to make things work out and be happy etc, not as materialistic, can adjust to different lifestyles (if you're an average joe she'll be there with you, if the sh1t hit the fan and you lost almost everything she'll be there with you too)

Chinese Ed Cons - Can be too naive and easily influenced by friends, can be very very emotional over small matters.

OVerall, i think Chinese Ed is better, as a semi-bannana, even tho it's difficult to bring my gf out for dinners etc sometimes coz of language barriers, it's still better for me as i find that chinese ed girls are not out there soo much for the fun, but more to settling down into a good future.

Your options are limited and you're miserably incomplete?

Tell you something which COULD piss you off even more.Chinese educated parents never like bananas like you being part of their family. It's considered a degradation.Good luck in your attempts in changing their thoughts.

lol. tell me about it. i hate the stupid "i've eaten more salt that you've eaten rice" line. it's soo bloody lame.you tell em what you've achieved, and they tell you - "your father gave all to you mah, i started from nothing". pfft. old foggies still living in the 1960s...

I was english ed,but when I studied in " A University",i mixed around with 99% chinese ed girls which i had a pretty hard time communicating.

Say all you wan,but i think chinese ed girls more "hamsap" compared to english ed girls...no offence but this is frm experience.

Chinese ed girls are very emotional and normally take every single word you say as a serious statement.

English ed girls are more happy go lucky, more sociable and easier to mix around with.

The fact is english ed girls are NORMALLY from wealthier families compared to chinese ed girls.Normally ya,not always!

101% correct!!! more open too in terms of physical intimacy. One thing i've noticed is that teenage pregnancy is more prevalent in predominantly chinese populated areas. e.g Kepong and Cheras areas.

hmm...ur pro and cons some part may be right...but some parts are wrong too..
I'm eng-ed gal..when I enter TARC for A-levels at wangsa maju....of cos..i need to mix around, and in my course..I'M THE ONLY FEW ONES WHO DON'T KNOW MANDARIN...I meet different types of mandarin speaking gals...Some like you say in the pro for chinese-ed...Think of the serious things more...But I knew this mandarin gal..First day couple up, already buat buat...Too fast???? shocking.gif

But what I sometimes don't like about too eng-ed gals is that they tend to be "action" cuz they can speak fluent english..Like got American or Aussie accent...bla bla bla...There was once, I was at Nike outlet cashier, these 3 gals keep talking loudly with their Aussie accent...(so noisy) Then, they even told the person in the counter they are studying at Australia when he did even ask them... rclxub.gif

Overall, I like both, it depends on their personalities only..If they are B*T*H then I won't go with them...As for guys..I don't know...

personality eventually wins ... but I for one, haven't met a chinese-ed person with whom my views don't clash horrifically.

U both seems to forget that some part of our personalities and characteristics arise from our background as well. smile.gif

yea, as in ppl with a rich background suppose to be slightly more "arrogant" than poorer/average people right?

but, well, i think in malaysia, not many are like that...or at least for those whom i know...a good thing?XD

well, it's not entirely wrong, but you know, malaysia is also kinda funny...

it's more like a moral judgment, not law...so, yea...no definite answer to that, just whether how much are you affected by the arrogance you displayed to the "victim" and how much the victim could take in your "snobbishness"

I remember I was once on the LRT and near me was a Chunghwa independent high school chap. He was on the phone chatting in mandarin. I thought it sounded kind of Taiwanese (as in what you hear on Meteor garden). I guess that's the equivalent of the aussie accent example above? A sell out is a sell out.
