Hehe... Just finish trimming Teddy's nails. You guys were right. Once the glider had becomes tamer and friendlier to us, its easier to trim their nails. Teddy doesnt even struggle. I of course rasuah him with mealworms coated with Hun's mixs XD.

Can't even train them for that. Took it out after a few weeks. They just pee on it like u said.

Actually if you really want them to learn and use the wheel, just leave it in their cage for as long as it takes.

I did with mine and he finally learnt how to use it after a months plus.

Some will know how to use it immediately, some will take a few weeks and some will take a few months wink.gif

My gliders don't take egg like that.

The egg source is included in their mix.

1 tub of mix usually contains 1 or 2 eggs in it. Since mine is the bigger tupperware, feeding for 4 monster for 1 month, I use 2 eggs.

If feeding by it's own, I think it should be sparingly, like 3-4 times a week...

Yeah, one of my band mates said I'm not helping the environment since I keep protected animals..
*
But sugar gliders aren't really that bad.... they are protected in Australia....

Alot of places keep gliders but need permits or license. Some states in US do not allow gliders.

Teddy Teddy.... he was never a crabber since he was a tiny joey. I found him very laid back and so very quiet for a joey hahahah.... you can do whatever with him and he won't really make a fuss.

Not all gliders like nail trimming.... now my Kiah and Kapi hates me whenever I trim their nails.

KP,
Hope that one day you will teach us how to make a mix like yours..
I'm very interested to learn to make one myself..

Is it mixing the ingredients in a blender and then refrigerate?
How long will a tub last as fruits won't be fresh in long term isn't it?

Won't the glider attack the hamsters?
I don't dare house them together.
Under my supervision it's ok.
Maybe cos my glider is wild, so they have the instinct to kill.
They kill my iguana before.
Don't dare house any other animals with them.

It really depends on the glider. That glider gets along with hamsters but like my Billie, she'll attack. My first glider, Pickles, used to go into my hamster's tank and steal peanuts and sunflower seeds. The hamsters came up to him and sniffed, making faces like 'What the.....?', but he ignored them and chomped away.
