Like i say it before. Many izzi sales person would focus on their sales. they do not care much about the feedback of their customer because its not their business. All they know is to hit their monthly target so that they could get extra cash. I do not encourage end users to buy directly without doing a test run first. Still, if anybody want to subscribe, kindly contact me.

I AGREE WITH YOU. ONE OF THE IZZI'S SALES PEOPLE DID A DEMO AT MY OFFICE (AFTERNOON) IN LEMBAH PANTAI AND MY HOUSE (AT NIGHT) IN KEPONG, THE CONNECTION IS ONLY 20%-30% OF 1MBPS. IT TOOK ALMOST 10 MIN TO DOWNLOAD A 6 MB FILE FROM AVG'S WEBSITE AND TOOK ALMOST 20 MIN TO UPLOAD THE SAME FILE AS YAHOO ATTACHMENT. FINALLY, THE GUY SAID SORRY AND LEFT MY HOUSE.

NOW, I AM SUING STREAMYX 512KBPS ONLY, IT TOOK ME ONLY 30-45 SECONDS TO DOWNLOAD THE SAME FILE AND ABOUT 2-3 MIN TO UPLOAD AS YAHOO ATTACHMENT.

JUST BE SMART... DON;T SIMPLY TRUST SALES PEOPLE... I'M NOT GOING TO SPEND RM1200 IN ONE LUMP SUM FOR 150 TO 250KBPS BROADBAND.

madman.com, if you read previous post (in V1) you will know that KJ area already congested.

I am from KJ too...and nothing they could done. I think iBurst hit its technology wall. I should be more aware...when I read the white paper, 24 mbps downstream limitation.....how on earth to provide 100 ppl per tower...

Now, even i smack my forehead pun...tak boleh buat apa already. Use it or ask for refund it. Sigh.

Getting 500kbps at best should be your best hope for most of the time (sometime during 4am to 5am you may get a bit higher). (less ppl use the service).

edited...

But some area has very nice speed (limited to 1 mbps). However, eventually, they will face this kind of problem too in the near future...when more and more people subscribe this service at that area. Look at the promoter, aggressively sell this product. Funny thing is, they have any kind of answer for your limitless question. I ask one o f them at Digitmall, how much user each tower can support simultaneously, and the answer 1000. Wow...if anyone havent study iBurst whitepaper.. they will think...awesome. But the truth is....

The good side of izzi....it rarely disconnected. Only sometime, when disconnected, hard to get connected again. Need to reboot my windows...wonder why.

Anod... Even smart consumer who ask izzi representative to come to their home and test it...fall into this problem. Because, at that moment the representative test the connection, the speed seem OK. But a month or more after that...the speed drop due to excessive and over p2p user...what can we do? Some people said ask for refund....some people said...stop complaining in public domain and some people said..live with that.... the answer is yours. I have mine.

****question*****

Do anyone of you guys know how to make other people access our PC using Izzi. I have no trouble to let people access my PC as mini online game server (without hamachi), and using No-IP. But with izzi...i have no idea. Seem, the only person could access it (via http) is me.

yup.... i understand what you are trying to say expertester... and i fully agree with you.... This is all due to excessive promoter in Lowyat? But anyhow, i still do hope that ppl don't whore p2p 24/7 la ofcourse... But frankly speaking... which ISP doesn't face this bandwidth issue? i believe each and everyone suffer from that... but they will boost it up in the future... but god knows when... Even the government promises to have Wimax within half year.... i wouldn't believe whatever the government says... So far, i don't have anyproblem with izzi since i use it from November.

they do maintenence kot kevyon.

the problem with people (who did 24/7 p2p) is... they thought they already hand over a huge amount of money for the service and they must fully utilize it. That's the mentality of some customers. And it will directly hit to casual P2Per or casual http/ftp downloader.

It is more likely chicken and egg problem.

But I glad that Izzi hasn't shapping the torrent yet. Some of the legit files / software need torrent to download it. For example, WoW client from blizzard.

overall for the first 3 or 4 months, its been pretty good. bandwidth usually around 700kbps to 900kbps+ and even tops up at 1Mbps. For the past 1 month plus, the bandwidth is dropping to merely 300-400kbps during the night time. i guess they are getting more subscriber in this area already.

well...actually is kinda dilemma situation. bcoz although the speed is f***ing slow sad.gifsad.gif, but like we know the line is quite stable smile.gif. And although we can only get around 10-15% of the speed that we paid for sad.gifsad.gif, but i found that is kinda "fast" when just do normal web surfing, and we didnt need a telephone line for that smile.gifsmile.gif. Ofcoz everything will come to dead when we start p2p sad.gifsad.gifsad.gif.
