Hi, i'm using izziyou too but my performance are really sucks cos i got 95-100% signal but the download kb max to 10 only every day. My area is in cheras tmn segar very near to tmn connaught where the base station place. I did even call to the customer support, they said they will follow up and get back to me until now more then 3 weeks i did not get any reply from them but only get extra 1 month free access only. Is usless if they give me 1 yr free acess which this sucks performance. fyi even with antena or not the performance is also the same.

Hi sieowwei, I'm having the same problem you are. It took over a month for the tech support people to give me a response, and that was only because I kept calling and calling to follow up on my complaint.

I made an appointment for their tech guy to come over to my place to test the signal, but even then, all he can do is diagnose and report back to their HQ for their network people to analyze the report log.

And they offered me two additional months' of service and I told them the exact same thing you said - what's the point of giving me another two months of shitty service? Just fscking fix my lousy connection already, or refund me my money.

Added on March 8, 2008, 6:07 pmBtw, it seems they only have ONE tech guy who will go to users' homes to test their signal strength, network settings, etc.

Man, I really feel bad for him.

i dun think i even bother to call up their centre after hearing all those you guys have experienced. maybe i'll just straightaway cancel it if the speed still sucks for the following month. no point calling them up if its due to station area overloaded. nothing they can do except for building more pipes. maybe i'll think about U-mobile surf.

actually, you should call them up... let them be more aware of the situation. They would consider to build more tower around that area upon lots of subscriber's complain

Build more tower will also get complains from peoples especially resident. Some time I felt the wireless solution always end up with nothing. Just like wat happen to webbit Jaring...

Anodize: you have a vested interest in getting people to subscribe and to stay on board as paid subsribers. I don't mind giving companies a chance to fix their problems, but when it takes nearly a month to respond to my complaint, and as a result I am no longer entitled to 75% of my money back, then that's a big problem.

Besides, if the issue is that there are too many subscribers for the base station to handle, how long do you think it will take before they build a new one? A week? Not likely. A month? Three months? Six?

Would you put up with six months of $hitty broadband service, just on the hope that *maybe* they'll build another base station?

I wouldn't.

I subscribed in early December. It's already been longer than 3 months. I'm pissed off because I trusted their technical support to resolve this problem before now.

If they had responded promptly to my complaint when I filed it on Jan.25, then either they would have fixed my problem by now, or I would have canceled my subscription and gotten my 75% refund back.

If I cancel now, I'll only get 50%, so I might as well keep it until the end of May and cancel it within six months of subscribing.

hmmm... i have nothing to say... except, i am one happy subscriber and distributor. As for complains, perhaps you can talk to them again. They are actually nice person but only stressed out sometimes. Do you know what they are going through?

I believe if you guys had been to lowyat, you can see that there is one booth for izzi wireless broadband and there are like 15 promoters? Look at those promoters... they know no shit about customer services... what they know is to sell and sell and sell only... what they care is their commission at the end of the day but Klang valley is not even fully covered yet.. there are blind spots... and just imagine all those people with 0% signal wanted to do refund after activation. CS would be damn hectic... THere are some customer who don't even know what OS they are using and start calling them on how come cannot connect thing... i myself have a pity on the CS themselves.. but what i hope is that those ppl who call CS would be those that complains that the speed are slow and hope that they could build an extra tower nearer to their place... But to build an extra tower, they would need the agreement by the building management themselves before building it... so, those building managements sometimes delay them alot. thus making them unable to carry out their job smoothly...

I'm sorry if i had said/hurt anyone in this post. My intention is to tell ppl that they are trying their best. If you get to their office, you will understand what i mean.

by the time they are aware of the situation, i think i've already waited for months before they taking any action. They can't just expect customer to start complain only then start to build more tower. they should have a proper upgrade plan when a certain area reach its unacceptable level of users, not by waiting for complaints only upgrade ma.

...and I'm not attacking them as people. If you think I'm just hating on iZZi, it couldn't be further from the truth.

When I signed up in early December, I was so pleased with the speed that I made a point of telling all my friends to switch from Streamyx to iZZi. I even hung out at their booth in Low Yat a few times and shared my positive experience with several prospective customers.

I'm sure they have their hands full, considering their aggressive marketing and the crazy subscriber uptake they must be experiencing.

What I've been complaining about here is the quality of their customer services. Every growing service provider will have teething problems. What they can't afford to do is piss off their customers.

I've encountered several great customer service reps at iZZi by now. And I appreciated the fact that the poor tech guy came over to my place after hours. But I shouldn't have had to wait over a month, or had to call several times a week to get them to take action on my problem. That's just poor customer service.

If you're fortunate enough to get CONSISTENTLY fast speed from your iZZi connection, then of course you'd be a happy subscriber. I wish I were one too.

what can i say... Sometimes the CS would get mad too... but never the less, they would still try to resolve your problem.. The tech guy is sitting near to the CS thus if he is there to help out those CS guy, you would get answer pretty quickly...

Cuz there is a tower in Wangsa Maju area while is USJ, the tower is at USJ 1. The distance between USJ 1 and USJ 5 is pretty far thus making the signal weaker.

Dang... any plan to improve it? i.e., more towers to be built in USJ area?

BTW, any one tested the connection from Bandar Puteri, Puchong?
