only reach there 12.30pm, everything gone. this 2 units that was snapped-up r probably insider people. hv called the office earlier for the price list n they say cannot give. now nothing left. last year was better. the discount price for 1800 is still around 3.8K.

check with some sales people n it seems that the reason y they cannot lower the price, is becoz of pressure from HN.

I reached there before 11am. Crowded with customers and paying queue is quite long too.
Lots of stuffs grabbed.
I juz managed a RX-V861 @ $1276 (to be exact).
It does upscale & upconvert ... meet my needs.
The unit 99.9% exactly like new set, so i think is worth it, consider current AVR with upscale cost at least 2k above ... so what else to expect eventhough its only 105W / channel ?

Even the RX-V861 also selling like hot cakes !

New models are more expensive than outside, I agree. That's why i rather go for obsolete models.

the Rx-V861 is quite a capable AVR from small to medium room....I have it for > 1 year liao....

My 1800 still havent properly run-in. Seldom have time for it as quite busy lately.

I wonder if there is anything left for tomorrow. I MIGHT want to replace my NS-P610 speaker set with something more robust. Have my eye on the 125 series.
