Thanks maranello55, yeah for me it's quite a big jump from keyboard to the wheel. Still not used to driving with it though, keep having oversteer, too early braking and etc.

But sigh, just used it for like half an hour then the pedal starts to have problems, it doesn't go 100% full. Does putting a tape on it will really solve the problem permenantly?

@ben_ang - try increasing the throttle sensitivity and adjust according to ur likeness. For me, I step on the pedal halfway, while sliding the sensitivity bar at about 50% and check if the low range is not too sensitive or else the amount of throttle u apply out of corners will be too much and can cause over or power understeer.

@BlueWind - O dear...prob already? Throttle fail to go 100% while d car was moving or during calibration?

Nah, just the normal issue faced by other people as well. It doesn't go full even when I depressed it, about 20% lost. But it solves the problem by unplug and replug the USB cable.

Yu didn't tackle the problem by putting a layer of tape? - How are you suppose to race after an hour or so with the throttle rate decreased by 20%?

I used to own a Logitech MOMO steering wheel.

Gave it to a friend for helping me move as a thank you present.

It was priced very similar to my joystick in Melbourne, given that I have 2 Logitech Freedom Force 3D joystick, I think if I ever work in Aussie again I'll get another 2x Logitech Rumblepad 2 just for fun.

I dont have that prob before...usually i would unplug and replug minutes before quali and race so my throtttle would stay full...(unless its spiking, theres nothing can be done). But ure rite...ive overlooked this and will put tapes as precautions. Who knows what and when it can happen.

If I'm not mistaken, spiking effect means when you depressed the throttle full physically, it only reads about 80% which is a common problem for all MOMO wheel I think. When it reads 80%, if you look into a software(DXTweak2 from Wingman Team) you will see the input spikes up and down not much of the effect in the input but enough to ruin your race.

If you get what I mean.. laugh.gif It happens on my 1 week old MOMO too..... sleep.gif

Yup...thats it. But really, it shouldnt happened to a brand new pedals....u can try RMA. Mine only show signs of spiking after 1-1.5 months intense labour.

RMA? What if they tested and there's nothing wrong? Then it will take weeks, but doesn't matter anyway I still have time though coz right now I'm quite busy. - How do you RMA? Do I have to bring back to the retailer?
