newcomer here! just picked up painter few days ago,
and this is what i did today , i really suck at shading btw
anyone willling to gimme advice? critics plz on how to improve hehe

How to learn drawing?

it just something random i draw after staring at blank canvas for a while 
im not really a fine art artist tho, most of my drawings are just rough sketches
but willing to improve and learn here 
style? not sure whats this about  , im tryin to pick up digital arts as hobby

Probably its already good that not many people  want to criticize much.    Frankly, I only find joy in becoming Simon Cowell. Some of my arts also not much comments at all (aside from comments telling me to fix this and that)...... so I assume this is good sign, no  ?

your facial's works and hair are done better than those fingers... 
You'll need to do more sketching on the 'fingers' to compliment the whole picture.

R u using pentool/tablet? If not suggest, just use normal paint brush and control the hardness and opacity to achieve the blending. Color burn is a bit hard without sensitive pressure pen. Or else look up deviant art tutorial on how to use em.

hi..finally ive managed to install painter iv on my hackintosh. So here's the progress. Rough colored version.( still indecisive on the colors).

hehe. i really need to practise back all the basic things i guess.
any reccommendation of any book?
