Another Shot of Martin Freeman as Bilbo in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit

user posted image

If you’re going to see Steven Spielberg’s “The Adventures of Tintin”, you may find yourself staring at a trailer for Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit”, a motion picture that I am almost literally foaming at the mouth to see. What’s more, the latest issue of Empire contains the image you see below, which, obviously, is a picture of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins from “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”. Don’t have access to Empire? Don’t fret — the image lies below.

The film opens on December 14th, 2012.

Goodness! I can't wait. The year 2001, 2002 and 2003 was the most exciting year, personnally, due to The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Honestly, both are equally great! I read through the trilogy twice only coz it's really long. The Hobbit was actually short, really. Could finish the book within a week.

From the trailer alone I can see some of my favorite chapters from the book, like "roast mutton" and "riddles in the dark". smile.gif

and oh, I hope they make "The Silmarillion" movie too. It's really interesting as Sauron is only a lieutenant to his master Lord Morgoth.

The Hobbit is a better read. Shorter, easier, better narrative and phrasing and good pacing.

LOTR has better mythology, with the War of the Ring, etc.
