OMG, dont get me started with assignments, I have about 5 to keep me busy on this break and 4 more to do after the break. Plus, being on the committee for 2 clubs, I have work to do for this weekend - Maulidur Rasul, farewell ceremony for MSD director and something else I forgot...

Haha... Easter holidays = DEAD TOWN.

Last easter my friend and I stupidly went to Knox City and got stranded there because the entire complex was closed. Can't even enter the building.

This time round I rather stay at home and sleep... whistling.gif

M'sia's public holidays are so much better... at least you see lively people everywhere compared to a dead town over here where everyone mysteriously vanishes.
*
Quite true.Public holiday here is dead city while Malaysia public holiday is filled with people everywhere.

Guess i'll sleep and study at home lah.

Yes, I'm considering UK too (UK study fair this weekend in KLCC), but it is rather pricey. An MBA course in UK would cost ~120k, while in AUS its ~70k. Not sure whether the cost of living might actually offset the lower fees in AUS... Any "study in australia" fair in KL?
The day he rose again...Happy Easter!

I think IDP will have the Aus education fair once in a while.

Education fair... hm... even if there's none, one could just step into IDP or AusEd and ask for information. IDP's really helpful although sometimes the service can be frustrating esp during peak times.

Same here, most of my gang is either in UK or back in Msia...
No worries. You have us here in LYN rclxm9.gif
*
IDP is only good for applying to Aus uni since it's application fees waived. After that, you are on your own.

Yeah,i still have my LYN Aus gang and my DoW brothers.

Still,I miss my family,my dogs and my awesome sound system. cry.gif Have to use ear buds here.

I feel your pain. Especially when the bulk of it is at ungodly hours and you have a lecture at 8am.

I feel it's ridiculous to wait till 12 to download something that is 50MB.Thats the main reason i have been sleeping at 2 for my Easter break. Then,at the end of the month,i have used up 99% of peak cap and 50%+ for off peak.

It's annoying.Cant they just put it at 10 or 11?The current time is encouraging people to sleep late.

At least you're in NSW. Here in QLD they refuse to bring the clocks one hour into the future, so not only you're forced to sleep late, the sun rises at 5.30am, so you can't sleep in.

I seriously think QLD needs a split time zone.
*
What?I thought the whole Australia gonna have their time shift one hour? Why Queensland like that?

Which program you use?My downloads are quite small most of the time.About 50-1GB.

I prefer to wait for it and check it out as soon as it's finish.

Yeah... basically the easiest way to do it is to turn your clock backwards one hour at 12am. I tend to turn it back just before I go to sleep tongue.gif

Hurrah... closer 1 hour to Msia rclxm9.gif

I took Jetstar back to KL from Syd last summer, overall it's not too bad I would say, but like what Haya just said, if you are getting the normal fares(i.e non-promo fares) back, it isn't really THAT much cheaper. Bear in mind that it is a budget airline, and thus no meals are provided, you either bring your own or purchase from them, in fact the only thing you get from them is just a bottle of mineral water, thats all. Meals would add another $30 one way on top of your fare while the entertainment set (basically a portable LCD that has movies in it) would cost about $10 extra.

Having that said, they do have promotions going on from time to time, I managed to get my ticket last time for slightly under $300 one way inclusive of tax, meals and entertainment set. The only setback was I couldn't change my flight date without incurring quite a hefty penalty+fare differences.
*
I guess i'll take MAS then.8 hours flight without any entertainment is killing me.
