Is there any Motor Show in Sydney?

One more week left for me.

Sydney,here i come.

Hope my laptop dont break down anymore after tomorrow's service.

Im going to Sydney on 20th of Feb.Also 10:40pm.

Why do we have the same departure time one?

If you are a UNSW student,i think there is wifi in the Unilodge or something.

I think we could meet up when i reach there on next thursday.Then,maybe we can go and find a permanent place to stay.I also could get a place to stay while im in Malaysia.

Just asking about the accommodation,since most of you have stayed in Aus longer than me.Heck,im only there for 2 days.

I found a place in Kingsford(those in sydney should know),on a street call Middle Street.It's less than 5 minutes walk to the uni and there are shops near by.The rent is $180 per week.There is a Chinese family with 2 sons that have migrated from China staying there.There will be charges on electricity and internet but she say the total rent wont exceed $200 per week.

The deal is good,close to uni,decent rent,shops near by but there is something holding me back:Are these people trustable?Im kinda afraid that they will con or steal my stuff.Been hearing a lot of these people going to Aus to con people.Shall i take that place or continue looking for other place?

They are more concern of their environment than some prawn.

That add has been up for about 10 days(since 13 of Feb) on the Housing Office,seems like no one have got that place yet.Strange.

Yeah,thats why im worry over this.

No point complaining after some shit happen to me,rite.Prevention is better than cure.

I didnt rent that place in the end.I decided to take up another place in Kingsford with offer full board and the contract only lasts till July.After that im free to go or continue staying there.The rent is 185 per week.Food and laundry is provided.

I guess i'll stay there for a semester to adapt to the uni life while i dont have to worry about food.

Problem solved for now.

Im in Sydney,not Adelaide.

Im in UNSW now.I didnt take Adelaide uni because it's not that well known in Malaysia.Might be harder to get job when i come back.

Quite a lot of people from China is studying there.Where are all the Malaysians?

I dont know.Im only there for a few days and spend so much adi.

I think it should be around 1k per month.

Sydney also,international students dont get the concession rates too while exchange students get it.

It's so unfair.

I still think we should have the traffic concession.

3 years?My gawd.

It is stupid.It's like everyone gets the traffic concession but not the international students.The part that makes me scratch my head is why exchange students get it but not international students?

Isn't it both of them are the same?Except one of them stay in Aus longer.

WTH?The living cost in these 2 states is high enough and they still want to suck more on public transport.

Luckily i live near to the uni.

I dont mind having public transport concession since we never pay a single cents to the Aus gov.it's just the current situation is too much for us.

Citizen,PRs and exchange students has 50% discount.

I guess i'll just avoid it if possible to keep the living cost down.Walking is good for health too.

It's not a big deal compare to the NEP.

Yeah,but i walk too much recently.Got a few blisters on my foot now.

Need a better pair of walking shoes.

Im even worse.Now,i have to share 50GB with 8 other people.

I have to change my browser now.It's downloading all the pictures i dont need.

I think my Maxis Broadband is better.Even it takes a week to dl a demo,at least i get it in the end.
