Anybody here applied online to UNSW before?

Ugh, LOL I'm stuck half way at the course selection page.
I got conditional admit, but when I press continue, it says "THere are no valid courses for you to choose from".
I have outstanding documents though, my Final Results and Proof that I've completed my diploma. But I'm yet to receive those until maybe ... June or something.

I previously applied from IDP as well, but the documents never reached UNSW, they only reach ANU.

Recently I went to IDP Penang and applied for a course start on February next year, and they told me I've to wait for another 3-4 weeks ( or maybe less ) to receive a offer letter by the college, I wonder this is a normal process by the college or IDP Malaysia ( Penang ) ?

We under student visa can stay on a further 18 months after our course ends.

hah...ur a goner mann....its gonna be colder due to climate change....usually its about 0-5 degrees average for the day...might plunge till -10 at night...and expect a few blizzards blowing in from teh pacific....good luck without ur winter clothing....

and yea get a few thermal clothings and some weatherproof jackets for the snowing season....oh yea some high rise water prrof boots for walking in the snow....u dun wanna get all soaked rite??

You'll need long sleeved clothing and jackets. As it doesn't get any colder than 8 degrees, you don't really need any special clothing (your friend is correct). Sydney doesn't get very cold, but since you're living in a coastal area, it can get windy. It only snows in the mountain ranges.

sport jacket enuf, but depend how thick it is. better have a spare thicker one than the one you have

those guys quite crazy leh....study during the day...drive taxi at night...and the only thing that can keep them awake during the day is cricket talk...

hi everybody.. I am vishak and i need some urgent advice on australian uni. I plan to do my undergrad engienering there. I have got offers from UNSW(electrical engin) and UniMelb(common engin) Please adive me which would be the better choice.. I plan to take up PR and settle in australia if i go to study there.. The difference is only approximately less than A$3000 as UNSW has also increased its fees. All you guys on a scholarship, does your award increase proportionally to the increase in tuition fees?

You mean UNSW is a nice place to study but abit too hectic for you because of the endless test system ?

I'm doing Engineering. So ... I don't know what'll happen.
Because my dad expects me to work part time as well. So ... I need to know how much contact hours do we actually have.
But from your feedbacks I guess it should be enough for me to score a balance in both studies and working. Not sure

sure can one.. look at those dudes from china.. they're doing engineering, etc, and work like 20 hrs a week.. some of them having 2-3 different jobs..

smth wrong with them? if you can do it why dont you do it too?

true, maths assignments are a real killer. commerce ppl hav it real easy(i mean schedule wise), one of my mates is like so care-free, go uni 3 times a week. haih ..... i wish i could do that too.
