I don't know why but after I practice for about 45 minutes nonstop, I feel like my brain lacks oxygen, about to pass out... Maybe its the chin rest, kind of feel like there's no blood supply to the brain.. XD But the way I place it on my shoulder is just the right place for me... Hmm.. am I the only one having this problem?

i use Crown GLM-200 as the mic, going through M-Audio FW410, just that simple. the cello and harpsichord are virtual instruments played with keyboard... happy.gif

now i listen back again my hair stand cause really shaky playing and intonation. sweat.gif

i use cubase.

oh and forgot to mention, the mic is clipped on the chin rest and the mic is on top of the violin (some where around on top of the area between bridge and tailpiece) pointing the soundholes.

I see. There is two mics?

I think if the mic is too near to the violin, it will have difficulty to play.

no, it's clipped on the chinrest, but it's the holder that's clipped on the chinrest on one end, and the other end is the mic hanging in the air. happy.gif

a plus sign on top of a note means you plug with your left hand.
