i'm currently in KL now studying (not music though), hmm, its my 3rd year playing viola now. Still lots to learn and appreciated =D Wonder is there any small orchestra which i can join here. Don't think my uni has one. hmm...

My main instru is piano =) my first string is violin but i changed to viola. =D yup loving piano and viola =) I opted not to take exams. I still play pieces, and i played in orchestra. =) really fun to play viola honestly, esp in orchestras.


not sure though, but there are ppl learning and playing, just that it's not a popular instru. No la ^^ I'm just an ordinary player.

I'm finding a intermediate one prob 1k-2k pricing hand made viola =) I'm still using my beginner viola, but it sounds rather well, not sharp and screechy sound.

littleice did u bought ur violin off ebay.com or msia ebay? shipped from overseas? thanks for the info on a pro violin. btw any tips on choosing a violin? As in what criteria is needed to be looked into. =)

hey peps =) how's everyone? I was tied down with work so din really came to this thread. I havent touch my viola for quite a while, i bet my getting rustier by the day =( was wondering, any difference in violin and viola bows?

I've been using my old violin bow for my viola , no difference in sound produced right? =)

Think I'll switch back to my viola bow =/ haha. bad thing bout viola is that there're not many solo pieces to play with. so normally I just play some contemp songs or make up one.

yay I'm heading back to my hometown soon, will pop by the orchestra and play a bit. Haven't really touched my viola. Hope it's not rusty =/ my skills and the instrument itself xD

I normally tune with a piano =P if the piano's out of tune, then my viola's out of tune too xD haha. But i don't really get where the argument is going, so um, I'll stay out of it =P

My viola is really rusting, + my uni is starting soon. + not sure whether my uni has an orchestra or not =P haha. oh well, just have to polish my skills when I'm back T.T Seems like I'm never improving ><
