Guys, please bear in mind.
A LOT of the problems usually comes from the not-so-clear instructions they currently have online. Are the instructions going to get better? I highly doubt it - up till now I haven't seen a complete guide for jailbreaking any versions - there's always some minor detail missing out in one guide that I can find in another.
I would say a majority of the problems you see here are mostly a result of 'upgrades' - because of the various amazing and wonderful things you can do to your iPhone, you can't expect a simple-script file to upgrade everything perfectly. So there WILL be problems if you upgrade from a not-so-pristine version of iPhone.
Also if you don't do this upgrade exercise often enough and get familiar with yourself on how the iPhone really works, it's just going to get more and more 'risky' for you.
As with all upgrades, backup all your contacts information and everything and you should be fine! Just remember, "if it can go wrong IT WILL!" - so allocate yourself a few extra hours if you're going to jailbreak to 1.1.3 - all hacks are like that.
Currently, as of now the official jailbreak from the devteam have only a few valid issues. The rest of the issues brought up are mostly from people upgrading from their own mangled-up iPhones. I've gone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 and back and forth so many times it's almost second nature for me now to restore and recover - and to do it from a pristine iPhone, I would say the results are *very* predictable. You'll always know how the outcome will be after a few times.
Now onward to the "valid" problems if you upgraded from a pristine iPhone would be the following thus far..
1. Contacts won't sync. But there's already a patch out.
2. AppSupport - some of you guys say it doesn't work - double check the permissions! Look here -
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=254873. Wifi settings works for me! And they're retained properly too. So if yours doesn't, it's quite likely you messed up somewhere.
4. Installer app won't install anything - you never upgrade to latest Installer before going to 1.1.3.. you'll have to restore and do it again very likely! Just to make sure everything's A-okay
5. Google locate doesn't work - install LocateMe or Navizon and it'll be fixed.
Here's a thread that might help you all
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=26054For those of you attempting to upgrade yourself for the first time, it's VERY IMPORTANT to know your roots! (eg. how was your iPhone jailbroken in the first place. Did you do it yourself? Which method did you use? From which version etc?) - as how it was done prior to this, will affect the outcome of your 1.1.3 jailbreak.
Also this phone wasn't really made for use in Malaysia - so those of you with localized telco problem, it is kinda 'expected' but I'm sure that's what we're all here for right? To share fixes that is applicable for our own local telcos

Bottomline - if you don't learn it the hard way, it'll always feel "risky" - so the only way to take care of 'gatal tangan' is just to scratch it regularly!

(Bluetooth is working fine for me - though there's a post saying that you just need to reset the iPhone and resync with your bluetooth device to make it work? or something like that - it's one of those 'rarer' problems)
For those of you who went to 1.1.3 and didn't like it and want to get back..
If you ibrickr/devteam jailbreaked it to 1.1.3.. restoring to 1.1.1 I can say is very simple. Put phone in DFU mode, shift-restore to 1.1.1. You might need to downgrade the baseband (i.unlock.no repository has it) as well for it to work in 1.1.1 (since it's likely you guys have 1.1.2 version of baseband). I don't quite know if a direct downgrade to 1.1.2 is possible? I wouldn't really know how to jailbreak it directly from 1.1.2? I do believe you have to go to 1.1.1, oktoprep it then go back to 1.1.2.. so yeah...
If it's a case of accidentally UPGRADED to 1.1.3 via Itunes, you probably going to have the new baseband and you will need to do a baseband downgrade.
Oh one more thing, to those of you guys looking for help, you REALLY have to put more effort into telling us what went wrong, and how you did what you did to get to where you are now. What were you doing before. You can't just tell us "Help my 1.1.3 is not working!"... just like how you can't tell a doctor "I feel funny here today.."
You gotta give us more to work on!

how can i downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2 back? this is a noob question, so please go ahead and flame me, but it is not my luck today to find info on google
Depending on HOW you went to 1.1.3 in the first place. Was it a jailbreak, or did you officially upgrade?
If it was jailbreak, here's how I would do it, there's probably a better method out there..
1. Put phone in DFU mode.
2. iTunes shift-restore to 1.1.1. Probably get error, use Ibrickr 0.91 to get out of that funny recovery mode
3. Jailbreak usual normal means *#301# etc..
4. Install BSD sub, update installer, get oktoprep
5. If need to downgrade baseband to 1.1.1's version
6. Shift-UPDATE to 1.1.2, jailbreak using touchfree, get anysim 1.2.1u, turn on airplane mode and run it to unlock baseband if necessary..
That should be it ! (ps -your Google-Fu is weak.. train up more! tons of stuff on this 1.1.3->1.1.2 on the interweb! - even megatron posted a link about it in post #112.. not sure if your post was before or after his.. but try to read back acouple of posts back)
