Holy cow. U fellas on OTB 1.1.1 shud do what I just. I plugged the phone into iTunes 7.6 n updated to V1.1.3. After that I just used the Zibri method on iClarified.com to Activate n Jailbreak. After that I installed BSD then Anysim 1.3 n VOILA! I now have an actual V1.1.3 update from Apple itself. No hacks, no probs. Everything works perfectly. I need to cehck on teh Caller ID n SMS whether the names match. If not tehn I'll jsut patch AppSupport n it's done. Sooooooooooooooooooooo easy n best thing is, it's an actual 1.1.3 from iTunes itself.

BTW ... izzit only for BL 3.9 and what izzit for?

Sry file too big, cant attach. I've jsut run through everything to make sure everything works. Youtube on EDGE, Youtube on wifi, SMS, Call in n out, Maps. Locateme, everything works perfectly. Only need to do AppSupport patch if u cant live without sender's name in SMS. The thing even installs Installer for u!!!

The Zibri method Activates, Jailbreaks n installs Installer App for u. I've found 1 thing though. When I connect the iPhone to iPhonebrowser, it says phone is not jailbroken n only shows the root folder with DCIM and iTunes_Control files inside. Oh well, it's a small price to pay for such an easy 45 second activation n jailbreak.

Ya I was playing with a BL3.9 unit so I used Anysim 1.3 to unlock. urs is V1.1.2? Good good, tehn u can report for teh 1.1.2 fellas on whether this method works for them too. Then the Nate n DevTeam JB can go tutup kedai oredi coz now we all can have original V1.1.3 from Apple itself.

just upgrade to 113 use iclarified (installer) method,everything ok.but my installer change to different icon and it not working anymore,anyone can let me know how to solve the problem?

read our postings right above. Why r u still using softupdate? Just plug into iTunes, update to original 1.1.3, then use Zibri method to Activate, jailbreak, Unlock for 1.1.2 n above. All it takes is less than 10 minutes. For V1.1.1 phones, use iTunes to update to 1.1.3 then use Zibri method to Activate, Jailbreak. After that use Anysim 1.3 to unlock. Also takes only about 10 minutes. All this results in actual 1.1.3 from Apple itself, not all teh funny funny hacked stuff from Nate or DevTeam.

mmm...just wanna ask, after done using ziphone, is the version of modem firmware is downgraded from 4.03G to 4.02G something? I've read somewhere in his blog that eventhough using it on 1.1.3 iphones, it will downgrade back the modem firmware to 4.02G something, which is the version that came with fw 1.1.2. currently i can't check myself as i'm on BL 3.9 and the ziphone can't run unlock sequence on this version, which then i need to resort to AnySIM 1.1.3.

yeah, ziphone is the very solution that i needed. no need to downgrade and upgrade, just do the firmware restore 1.1.3 on iTunes and then start ziphone unlock + jailbreak. really convenient indeed.

Just to confirm, u upgrade or restore to 1.1.3 using itunes 7.6. If not mistaken it should restore. BTW, should we uninstall all apps including summerboard before upgrading to 1.1.3.? How about all information like phonebook, song etc still intact?

The modem becomes 4.03 after Ziphone method. The phone I was working on was original V1.1.1 and accidentally upgraded to 1.1.3 through iTunes by my friend. Ya, I know, I got quite a lot of silly friends. just last week I recovered a V1.1.1 for a friend, then this week another fella go update to 1.1.3 tru iTunes again. Ziphone will Activate n Jailbreak, after that use Anysim 1.3.






I had to use restore coz I did from DFU mode. If ur on 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 then u can jsut upgrade to 1.1.3. When u do this, it restores the phone to as new from factory. Nothing remains.

baretta i think he sayin "update" means upgrade.
i planned to try it later.. still dling itunes 7.6 and ziphone now.. dam tomorrow 9am class
