Current Status on iPhone 1.1.4 Hacking
There is currently 2 end results you can obtain with a unlocked/jailbreaked/activated iPhone running on 1.1.4.
The first 1 :
Firmware 1.1.4, Bootloader 4.6, Baseband 4.02
The second 1:
Firmware 1.1.4, Bootloader 3.9, Baseband 4.05
There is currently don't have the FULL ACTUAL UNLOCK 1.1.4. You have to either compromise the bootloader or baseband. It must be either one. The difference is that bootloader once dowgraded cannot be upgraded while you still can get back to your original baseband by restoring through itunes. I would recommend everyone to have the "First version" which compromises on baseband.
So how to achieve both the version ?
For Firmware 1.1.4, Bootloader 4.6, Baseband 4.02,
1) Restore to 1.1.4 using iTunes
2) Activate and Jailbreak ONLY using ziPhone v2.5c
3) Unlock ONLY using ziPhone v2.3For Firmware 1.1.4, Bootloader 3.9, Baseband 4.05,
1) Restore to 1.1.4 using iTunes
2) Press the Do-it-all button on ziPhone v2.5c
Pros and Cons of Baseband 4.02 and 4.05 :
With Baseband 4.02 : You will not be able to use the function - "Locate my current location" with the map.app
With Baseband 4.05 : You will be able.
No need to use v2.3 ... can straight use v2.5c. Zibri corrected the bug already.

hmmm....do the BL3.9 OR BL4.6 effect the WIFI connection speed ?
coz just now i try to simulate 2 iphone 1 BL3.9 on 1.1.4 and the other wan BL4.6 on 1.1.2. Its seems BL4.6 1.1.2 has a better connection in terms of WIFI stability bandwith connection.
Has anyone face problem with WIFI connection speed on BL3.9 1.1.4 ?
Again let me stress the differences between
BOOTLOADER and
BASEBAND.
BOOTLOADER = BIOS in your computer. The first thing that load when u press sleep/wake button to on. It check the baseband, firmware and sim and other stuff.
BASEBAND = Communication Driver. This thing handles all communication in the phone i.e phone function, bluetooth and WiFi.
So Ur question should be WiFi on 1.1.4 with 04.02 BB compared to WiFi on 1.1.4 with 04.05 BB, not the bootloader.
Hope this clear the air for u.
