when m'sia honda released this city? Jan 2009?

last night browse some sites for other cars exluding local cars...
it seems at price range of 80-90k can get brand like nissan livina, naza citra 2, avanza full specs 1.5, nissan sentra, toyota rush 4wd and lots more...if city is price between 80-90k, might consider other options for foreign brand cars...it might be not normal car, some are mpv but kinds of worth the price...

and among those, the city's resell value definitely is higher too. actually i was thinking about livina if city is overly expensive haha. see how first la.

Sorry~ out of topic~ If you guys choose on Proton, which models you guys will point at~?
let says you give up on this Honda beauty and have to go for local Proton or Perodua models.

Totally agree with zweimmk. Dont forget new Honda City is still same segment car with Vios. Furthermore they are always the same level rivals to talk about. So the new City doesn't deserve any skyhigh price as just like what zweimmk said the world economy is going down the drain. We should shout out loud to Honda Malaysia and request for a reasonable price. Better watch out Honda Malaysia. Nothing to be arrogant with this new Honda City yet, until your reasonable price is announce and get a good result.

yaris i remember is less expensive than jazz, probably below 100k.

Red brake caliper, wider, bigger tyres, CF aero mirror, garish headlights and tail lamp... this thing will cost quite a substantial amount if it's a production vehicle.

me been waiting for 2 yrs edi back then to me there are no nice japanese cars within 70 - 100k range. old vios, new vios, city bleh, latio 0.0 and finally... honda is speaking my language! haha

after buying this car if its within my budget, i also dun have extra money for modding or modulo parts liao... but would like to see how ppl mod their new city, maybe later also no eye see

as for color maybe black gua but i keep my option open until i see it in flesh lo. blue seems nice too... how bout u?

If I am getting it, will definitely be in black. That is if unless Honda Malaysia releases a white version. However not too sure on this car yet, as the upcoming Mazda 3 is so tempting. 

For me, the front is not my liking. Still prefer the original. The rims are not bad though.
I do agree that black color generates more heat. I guess just get a better tint, it helps a little.

I see. I guess just have to bear with it. Not sure bout you, but for me beige color interior is a no-no. 

If the HM launch white color City.. for sure i will go for white... But if the pricing is too high.. maybe i will consider White Latio Sport with Impul bodykit...

finally, i have made my decision to book this gorgeous soon~~

The new City already launched in Singapore. I dun think it will be as cheap as last time though. In Singapore it's around SG 10k more expensive than the Vios.

My guess is this car could cost up to RM95k...

This car might be out to compete with the Altis rather than Vios... 

its bad if caught in between. ppl would go for cheaper vios 1.5 although its sooo over-price-ly expensive or 1 class bigger altis 1.6.

but seriously, the vios spec S totally ruined the market. KNS vius! (no offense to the owners, but towards UMW). why 3 trims la, so tat can conquers the whole segment pie for this range ya. bloody reap off.

All new Hondas are iVTEC I think...

i prefer the singapore's trimming for city. they have 2 trim, but you can either get the manual or auto, beige or black at either trim. win win situation and both parties happy. unlike here, i bet with my 2 cents that standard trim is beige and higher one is black interior.

as for vius, they took this opportunity to widen their profit. they can acutally sell the high end spec at RM85,300. but hey, they just want to come out another more premium model by putting the actual complete package + some cosmetic and sell it at RM88,600 for 'S'. and then it become a standard where everyone willing to stretch their loan just to feel (fake) premium.

old city on the other hand offers whole lot better goodies such as water resistance seats...etc, yet they selling at RM85,800. compared apple with apple, premium vios is really...you know, compared to vtec.
