actually both also same class as japanese entry level cars. its not really considered as higher class than vios, but it has certainly improve up to few standards higher. so wut vios going to do next i wonder, still using bak the same engine and change skin only...

n73me has the same idea as me. If they go with the V and SV version, they will lose out on the Vios J market, I don't think Honda can or is willing to lose out on that market. They're not Mercedes or BMW, their primary target market is still towards the lower to upper middle class of consumers. In fact, if you talk about brand strength, I would say Toyota carries more weight. And the modulo kit is just an aerokit, other than aesthetcs, there's no added value. It would be more of a draw to offer say either cruise control or xenon headlights over its rival which is offering a lousy aerokit with their car.

I was at Singapore Motor Show 2009 on Sunday. I can tell you the new Vios gonna loose out to this new machine.  City was the showcase on the stage.

Honda City is an entry-level car, it's targeted at junior executives to mid-level managers, from there you can roughly guess the age range...

See lo. If one has no other commitment (housing loan), then one with RM 1,800~2,000 can also own this car...

That's provided you have no other financial commitment such as house loan...

Let say the car is RM85k. d/p RM20k. Left RM65k.
Go for 7 years. Interest is about 4% = RM18.2k
Total sum is 65k + 18.2k = 83.2k
RM83,200 / (7 years * 12 months) = RM990/month

2000 - 990 = 1k left
food(300) + accommodation(200) + petrol(300) = 800
1k - 800 = 200 left

still not included service for the car, toll, entertainment, daily things, etc etc and 2k is nett or haven't deduct for EPF SOCSO.
If like brother elru said, 30k - 50k d/p then should be no problem.

30k d/p is too much la... can't afford that... even can also damn sakit hati lo one time pay 30k on a car...

at most is 15k... i rather pay slowly and painfully then having one chunk of my saving gone... if emergency happens... memang hai lat d lohh...
