n the toyota altis (assuming its the 1.6) is cheaper than the city in sgpore. That aint look good

but our city is CKD, and its not imported from thailand. so it doesnt make sense if singapore sell expensive, here also should.

It's only natural. After all, this is an entry level car that's aimed at the mainstream market and with the gloomy economical outlook, the masses are more inclined to tighten their belts and look for the best available bargain. People who are already set on buying this car will buy it one way or another, but for the majority that's sitting on the fence, those are the ones that will make up the bulk of Honda's sales.
Honda City Singapore review:
http://motoring.asiaone.com/Motoring/Test%...1020-95039.htmlhope honda target their audiences right. for me, i can still:
1. get affordable white rebina (value for money)
2. buy cheaper white vios + save some monies
3. recession coming, dun buy cars and put the saving in islamic bonds lol.
there is a saying, regardless how is the economy, ppl will still buy cars because its a necessity. i'll say, be a smart buyer as there are other choices too
