So PS3 not launch in M'sia... but Sony shop has it. I went to KLCC Sony shop somemore few months back they were like putting it in the middle of the shop like a showcase. If you go now, you can see the white one as well.

Ah yes.. if the ordinary shop can make basic repairs then I'm ok with it.
So might as well i get it from ordinary shop coz they know better than the Sony guys.

Ceh... I thought Sony stealth launch PS3.

Btw, you can forget about asking sales staff at Sony outlet about gaming stuff, they have no idea. The coolest reply i got? "PS3 is not a Sony product"...

But take note that since there is no warranty from the shops themselves, you will have to pay for the parts replaced and maybe the service too. Not forgetting, once you open the set, your future warranty with Sony S'pore would probably be void.

Yeah. I felt like I just asked a stupid question....

That coming soon sign has been there for ages, more than half a year I think.

the PS3 at sony style is just for demo - to show the visual quality of the sony plasma tv when connect PS3 using hdmi port.

I just received email from sony malaysia to confirm that:
"As per reference to your email, we are sorry to inform you that Sony Malaysia have not launch PS3.

We do not have the exact date when we will launch PS3. We will make the announcement through our website, press and media.

man that suck...how long do we have to wait....

maybe sonystyle.my waiting for MGS4 for local launch? imagine the launch party, promo activities, constest, BD showcase, cosplay, etc. we can always dream~
