btw the 450D, looks like the battery grip is BG-E5.
i wonder if people can use BG-E3 on it.

As i experienced the similar situation before... as i know... when 450D dropped it's price closer to 400D( maybe around RM300+ difference ) then 400D's price will only start to drop gradually.. and 450D will drop too but very very little.... just like 400D came out and what happened to 350D... might be the same...
