a superb 2.8L with IS !! WOO!! want to fly already

myjunk got it for rm850 i think

55-200mm..or go straight to 55-250mm IS. or 3rd party like tamron 70-300 2ndhand unit. 

or the sigma 18-200 also ok what

Tammy 17-50mm is a standard zoom lens, 55-250mm hmm i think should be telephoto zoom

If you are looking for something cheap to replace your kittylens, get Tammy 17-50mm f2.8, very sharp lens

For RM3k

How about a used Canon 20D + used Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 as your kittlylens? 20D is 5fps and it can go up to ISO 3200.

If you go for a used 30D, you might only able to get the body + the standard Canon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kittylens.
Get Siggy 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro. You get both Tele + Macro lens.

Then save up more for the Canon 70-200mm f4 L. 

Since your halfway there, might aswell get the 2.8L with IS..

For 5k.
Used Canon 30D + Used Canon 70-200mm f4 L should fit your budget.
Used 20D + Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 is around RM3k
I rather get myself a Canon 10-22mm rather than pumping extra 2k into my C70-200mm f2.8 L for the additional IS At least I get to use a super wide angle lens + good event + potrait lens.

well, also depend on if you need it i guess? cause my hands are weak so it tends to shake, so id use a IS system, or was it because i wasnt used to the weight.

Frankly, I prefer 70-200mm f2.8L The feel is different when you hold one f2.8 compared to when you are holding one f4 unit. However it's significantly heavier compared to f4. If you have extra bucks later on, go for the f2.8 version.

hello, im completely new to photography. wondering how much is 400d + 18-55 now? some ppl said sony a200's kitlens is better than canon's 18-55? is it true?

also, a very noob Q, wat does 18-55mm mean?

not sure about the price but the 18-55mm is the range of how much the lens can zoom in.

that 80-200mm is a real budget cheapo telelens. It won't follow you long if you are serious in photography
