i stay in apartment (8th floor) with lots of cats when i move in for the first time, i already saw one house at 8th floor have some cats lepaking infront the door - i think they are both in and out door. but for sure, if u see all the house kitchen here is close with netting or something to prevent the cat from going in. some strays like to lepak here, some strays even give birth on the roof top of this apartment.

errkk apartment roof top, you know how it look like? flat empty space? not like landed house roof which is triangle apartment has empty flat space on top of the building, you can see water tanks, astro antenas, lift generator, etc. there's no door but there is a lock grill - so human cannot pass to the floor, but the cats can easily go through the grill, and lepak on top of the building.

neways my sisters fat cat now getting slimmer already
last week weight 27kg now is about 26.5kg.

You are lucky that he didn't scratch the bean bag... hahaha... my cats will scratch everythg that they can in the whole house... i have bought alot of toys and some cardboard / rough strings for them to scratch, they like it also but will still scratch at other places... kekekee

Atleast apartment also, I keep Oren indoors and he has his proper place to poo and pee... Got other people who keeps cat but let their cat go out and wonder and pee at my staircase area Sakit hati wor...

The tali jut texture and type is similar to the one shown in the pix, but it's darker brown color... I'm not sure what other people call it, but I have come to know and call it tali jut since ages

I just wrap the tali around the PVC pipe with some PVA glue to make it stick... No base to make it stand, I just let it lie around at the back only... How do you make the base? The standing pole is also wood?

I'll post a pix tonite or tmrw so you can see...

I used the cardboard last time but I hate having to clean up the pieces that were torn out...

how do i make the base and standing pole? easy.. if u know any factory or place they always throw away wooden box for shipping or whatever purpose, as long as wood. make sure one of it look like "papan" which means square and thin... this one is for the base...

then look for something tall for the pole, should look like table punya kaki. square and tall. there's one time i combine some wood to make it square.

so now u have the base and the standing pole... to put both together you need "paku & tukul" ... or u can use screw and make a hole under the base and standing pole.

then u have your tali right, just put it around the pole. if u have some thin carpet can glue it on the base / just use the tali for the base too.

last time i bought 1 scratching post and 1 house with scratching post. now need to repair it, cos some tali become thinner already.

last week I bought 1 pack of Orijen cat which is 2.5 kg for my hedgehog... but I found out that I need to mix other few brands to give the good amount of protein for my hedgie... and It;s really to much for me to buy few brands to mix as Im a student and only rare 1 hedgie... it's really wasted if I bought some other brands but cant finish it... so i was thinking to sell of again the 2.5 kg Orijen cat....

is there anyone interested to buy? of course I wont sell it as the exact price i bought la... i just dun wan it to be wasted...

skinny or fat cat doesnt matter at all. all you need to make sure if the cat is 100% healthy or not. no point if you have fat cat but not healthy, no point also having skinny cat but not healthy.

u must consider the genetic factor too. like human, we do have this fat and skinny genetic. like me, im skinny - do medical check up everything fine and healthy, but im skinny that makes people think im sick. consider my dad genetic is skinny type, since he is skinny but healthy.

so its alright to have skinny cat as long as the cat is healthy - not sick, do not carry bad symptom, no vomit, normal stool, no bleeding, good body temperature, clear eyes, clean body (ears, and fur). that is important.

i have skinny cat (her face is in the purple cat thread signature), but healthy after medical check up. her brother is masculine and her sister is fat. but she is skinny, only 2.5 kg. its alright for me, as long as she is in normal condition.

kitten food and adult food contain different protein and fat percentage. Like SP, RC, IAMS they have different % in protein and fat for both product. If you give origen or enova ivo (if im not mistaken - forgot the brand name), they have the same % of nutrition for both kitten and adult.

again, its all up to you... its base on your financial. cannot force you to buy this and that right. tak guna juga nak paksa paksa right.

Yup, most brands that has the kitten pack and adult pack separately, the protein percentage is different.

That is also why I prefer to give Orijen or Eagle Pack Holistic cuz the same pack is for both kitten and adult

Not sure if evo is the same too cuz quite hard to find evo around...



Pure breeds ofcourse needs more attention and extra care.

Basic care is similar to a normal cat, but other cares needs more detail.

My cat and kittens HATE Friskies and Whiskies. They only eat SP.

i dont quite care if they put me on anylist. i not a fan of cats anyways but what i love more than my dog is my sister.
although her cat has been put on a strict Diet by the vet it sometimes piss my dog off and steals its food.
now anyone can tell me how to keep this cat from over gorging on food and finally die of Fattness. The cat has already developed joint problems due to its weight.
any tips to make it lose weight
it was 30kg and not has dropped to 27kg but has remained constant at 27kg. i suspect its stealing food from somewhere. Should i keep it locked up in the Cage cause my sister said its cruel.

normally vet will give advise food. like product such as Science Plan or Royal Canin - they have special one for diet. if your sis cat is indoor and outdoor, and like to steal food, its better to catch him/her so you can feed with special diet recommended vets food. else no use also giving diet but eat other place right. so cage for a good purpose.
