You are lucky that he didn't scratch the bean bag... hahaha... my cats will scratch everythg that they can in the whole house... i have bought alot of toys and some cardboard / rough strings for them to scratch, they like it also but will still scratch at other places... kekekee He doesn't scratch the bean bag, he loves to scratch my carpet! KP Added on March 5, 2008, 2:04 am QUOTE(elfreakz @ Mar 4 2008, 07:44 PM) just DIY yourself the scratching pose. from box also can, tali also can... if box i do it this way.... ![]() just cut the box to any size u like (i use the ruler height about 3CM)... the glue it with each other... square or rounded shape Added on March 4, 2008, 7:49 pm i have been thinking of doing it using tali, but do they call it tali jut? bcos i already do the base with wooden that i found nearby some factory, but haven't found the tali... like the image below. ![]() they called it tali jut is it? QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Mar 5 2008, 09:38 AM) So far he hasn't been scratching the bean bag... Been found sleeping in it ada lar... Hahaha... you should see my piano chair with that layer of pvc leather on top... all kena scratch, when you sit, you can feel that small little poking layer on top... now almost the whole chair effected... Most pitiful sight right now is my carpet lor KP Tiger even like to scratch on my jeans. When i'm wearing a jeans out, he will come and start scratching... Added on March 7, 2008, 11:44 pm QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Mar 6 2008, 09:49 AM) Yup, most brands that has the kitten pack and adult pack separately, the protein percentage is different. Yup Yup... I have been using Eagle Pack Holistic since all my 5 cats was a baby till now... This product ain't making them fat coz of the certain percentage in it but they are all healthy brats.... My Tiger is super thin..... sometimes i do question how come he is sooooo thin like lack of food but my vet said that's ok.. he is healthy... That is also why I prefer to give Orijen or Eagle Pack Holistic cuz the same pack is for both kitten and adult KP *Opsss, lupa lah nak take pix of my scratch pole This post has been edited by hooverbell: Mar 7 2008, 11:44 PM |

QUOTE(abang brother @ Mar 6 2008, 07:37 PM) Thanks for the advice. Yeah man, tell me about it...... My family do want all my cats to be those super fat and big cats, coz when cuddle them also syok syok.. plus it's nice to "show off".... hhhaaaa... Heres an idea, try put it on the first page, seems like alot of people want their cat to be fat but ... you know... but all my cats just can't grow fat! I still say, as long as they are healthy, that's good enough. If they are sick, you will be crying alot + medical fees that will kill you... hheee... So better be fit fit than fat fat... Added on March 8, 2008, 12:19 am QUOTE(elfreakz @ Mar 7 2008, 02:11 PM) in some cases it is not cruel to cage a cat/kitten. for good purpose its alright. if you want to cage your cat/kitten its alright, as long as in one day u let them out from awhile, and then cage them back. for some reason you need to cage your cat, like, maybe your cat is sick - you dont want them to wonder around vomitting in your house, maybe you hurt its legs so they need to be cage to make less movement. maybe you just neuter or spay you cat - u need to catch to make less movement or bleeding. maybe you cat is on heat, while waiting for neuter process - you might want to cage them before they got pregnant. maybe you have female cat that just give birth or pregnant female - you need to cage before she move the kitten to a place that is hard to find, and afraid they give birth at place hard for you to reach. maybe you have fighting type of cat or new comers to your home - you need to cage before anything go wrong between the new comers and the current cat. Talk about caging a cat.... I will have to do it when i spay my Sydney. And i know how is the outcome... She will be meowing whole day long coz we never cage our cats except Stuart (when he bully other cats)... The rest, we never cage them at all... so i think Sydney is gonna make alot of noises for at least 2 weeks... i don't see cage as a bad things. there's must be a reason why you cage your cat. QUOTE(elfreakz @ Mar 11 2008, 09:44 PM) This is my opinion and choice I'm using Eagle Pack all this while... tried to mix some IAMS, weird... few of them tend to vomit the food out after they had it... any idea? Anyway, i have stop giving IAMS.. High premium cat kibbles food - Orijen, Innova Evo (both contain 0% grain, high protein and fat - so some cat might not like it - but they will eat less because the protein & fat is high, as for the price they are alil bit pricey than other food.) Premium cat kibbles food - Royal Canin, IAMS, Proformance, Science Plan, Eagle Pack, Evolve, etc. (reasonable price, let your cat choose which they love the most). Normal cat kibbles food - Whiskas, Frieskies, Smart Heart, and others can food at GIANT, CARREFOUR, TESTO, JUSCO, etc. (Cheap). Anyway, if you only have one cat at home High Premium is the best, you cat might like Orijen. Or maybe you can try Royal Canin, IAMS. As for me, i have 9 cats, so I give them Proformance as it is at reasonable price, RM98 per 10kg. Again, if you only have 1 cat, its good to give High Premium cat food or premium, which suit your cat and your budget I do not recon the Normal cat food though. For your friend, why don't you give Royal Canin Persian Kitten - it have this formula to reduce hairball too |

QUOTE(abang brother @ Mar 15 2008, 10:55 PM) Nah just for improving their discipline. I read in this book saying, you can spray it with water or you can tap the nose with your finger to improve their discipline. Oohhh... i use spraying of water as a punishment for them... just like when they want to fight, i spray water... they will be afraid... I learnt that somewhere... |

QUOTE(longaty @ Mar 17 2008, 03:24 PM) tula psl hmmm... so sorry to hear about this that u have to make hard decision here. hmmm im still confuse... how many cats do u have? she lives alone and needs a loving cat as a companion.. but for sure i'll cry my hearts our le. i know how u feel, if ask me to spare one of my cats to others, surely i will cry my hearts out... sometimes my Stuart Boy does fight with others but thank God it's not until that bad that they poo and pee everywhere. In fact, it's my first time hearing that they pee and poo... hmmmm... i think i never encounter this before though i have 5 at home. really hope u can get a kind loving owner for shiro! |

QUOTE(Fat^Cat @ Mar 19 2008, 05:37 PM) I would say that it's almost the same. You can try it out and see which one your kitten prefer. Some people will also mix some of those brands together so that the cats can have more balance diet... I tried to mix Eagle Pack with IAMS but my cats can't take IAMS... so now i only give Eagle Pack, i might try to mix other brand for me also... |
