Is it so serious until you have to do before (spray) and after (prevention) ?? you buying to type of frontline you know. so smart people make money

why i say serious, it sound like my problem last time, when the fleas attack my household. this is what the vet say serious. where i must spray them first + spray the whole house! 3 days later bath, then spot on.

but if it is normal usage, like you a small group of fleas, you can either use one product only.

hmm my vet even ask me to choose which i want to buy like you want candy or lolipop? they are both sweet and teeth killer

My beloved Aileen died like this lah before. perut bengkak macam byk air, berbuih at 6pm, jalan macam orang mabuk, then 11pm shouting and died.

My vets say Keracunan or FIP.

the vet doesnt noe what happened..

he only said that now memang musim kucing sakit (a type of flu which is fetal apparently)

emon was given air(drip) (he was dehydrated) and some injections

haf to go for more dripping tomorrow

heheh tak pernah pula dengar "musim kucing sakit", kalau "musim manusia demam" ada lah

anyway, to know the real result why, you need to go so many procedure, like blood test, urine test, xray, banyak lagi lah. then only can confirm why they become like that.

like my case dulu pun, that cat memang ada FIP at stage 2. Yet vet tak boleh kata FIP kill her because terlalu mendadak. another reason why the vet tak cakap FIP is the killer because, a week before she died, she escape from home for 2 weeks, then baru jumpa. Vet said, she might be eating something poison, maybe from racun serangga di rumput2 (u know lah cats like to chew grass), maybe makan serengga atau binatang lain (in nature, some insect and small animal do produce poison untuk self protect) - like some frog, mampu mengeluar kan racun yang boleh halang dari musuh. Rubbish garbage yang boleh bawa kuman2 and kill the cats.

That time i have gave up to find her. 2 weeks sunyi. at last she come back home sendiri, bring death so sad but try, the vet told me "she want to die beside her owner". that night i have release her, and give her back to god.

Ehh, I quoted what you said before lah, "same group"... I didn't didn't say it is the "same"...

gosh kalau sampai jumping tu serious.. better spray at vet, and let the fleas die there. if you do at home, they can escape and go under carpets, or anything in the house. last time i have to spray my carpets with fleas killer then after 3 days send to dobi

after that baru complete habis. i was wondering at first, kenapa fleas ni di spray tak habis habis. macam ants. then i know they are hiding somewhere in the house. spend alot of RM because of that tiny insect.

one cat bring fleas + late attention from owner = fleas home

We only saw one jumping lor cuz masa tu tengah selak-selak his fur...

as long as there is no fleas eggs yet. check out google for fleas life cycle. kinda fast. and pray the eggs are on the cat body, so they will died there with the frontline. hopefully the fleas tak bertelur somewhere in your house.

Wokey, let's hope the fleas and eggs are just on Oren while the treatment

Ya so sad.. My gf dont stop crying for few days.. I do really hope she will get better..

Im sure that my cat was healthy.. I already gone through few cat that pregnant.. There is some tissue on the left side of my cat that 'terkoyak' that make 2 of the baby go through the hole.. And its getting complicated after that.. U can see its normal from the outside.. but i realized that something is wrong.. I see the pattern keep changing so bring her to the vet and surprisingly to know the problem.. i already neuter her and as u said.. i dont want her to suffer again.. For the surgery and all the medication plus the neutering, it cost me around RM400+.. This is the 1st time i gone through with the problem, and yes people will learn from experience..

Yesterday's visit to the vet resulted with Oren and Mia undergone the Frontline flea treatment.

Oren got some antibiotics cuz the doc worries that flea might've carried some infections that caused his to be inactive.

Mia's peeing problem could be some bladder infection and is on antibiotics for a week then to go for 2nd round check up...

Problem is... Mia does not want to eat the meds...

Even with both of us trying to feed her, we end up getting scratched... She fights off violently. Two days already she has not taken the antibiotics. This morning, I got a huge scratch from her... Will need to go to my doc for check up later if it's too deep or not for treatment.

Total paid to the vet was RM77.00

There's a big possibility that I have to turn Mia back to where she came from as we seriously cannot control her and she might not be suitable as an indoor cat

We have been trying to keep her because Oren adores her

Syrup type of medicine is it? If pills boleh campur dalam makanan kan. syrup lai senang actually nak bagi. front the side(end) of the lips. vet didnt show demo is it?

so kesian lah Mia kan, i do not blame you. Mia kind of genetic sure do not ready for home pet. Mia is lebih kurang with my Adik sekarang ni. Garang, baran, degil, tak mahu di sentuh. Semua orang ingat I dera dia in first place. but it is genetik. lucky Kakak & Abang tak ada genetik tu. Its very dangerous. Adik should not be breed, else all the litter come with her wild genetic. this normally happen in cattery, this kind of genetic is very important to stop.

so make you decision wisely KP, Mia acting like that maybe because she still new to the environment. She still do not get used with everybody in the house.

p/s mesti Oren senang hati eheheh, "perrgghh balik juga minah ni, tak larat aku layan baran dia"

I requested syrup for Mia cuz I know I cannot hold her mouth open as big to feed pills.

I can't even slip the syringe in her mouth... Nak bukak sikit jer, she bites closed her mouth and bit my finger... All her feets will scratch all over you... Her hind legs can reach your hand holding her head you know...

Dapat bagi skit the syrup last night, but she spit everything out bit by bit till the syrup looks like "buih" coming out from her mouth...

Mia has been with us for 2 months 2 weeks now.

The first month, she is caged and let out for short periods only.

During that time, she will always act "baik"... Maybe cuz being caged...

After dismantle the cage and let her free roam, she cannot be touched at all... Nak stroke-stroke pun she don't want...

Playtime with Oren is okay, but not too much lah... However, Mia does look for Oren when she cannot find him cuz he is cuddling with us on the sofa or in the room...

I cannot say Oren does not like Mia, he adores her... I've seen him licking Mia when she sit still for 30 seconds(yes, Mia cannot sit still longer than 30 seconds unless she is sleeping...)

I've kept Mia this long because of Oren...

But all her aggression when it comes to bathing time and meds time, is really hard... There is not a time that I did not bleed atleast a little during these times...

She is not meant for an house cat... She prefers to be on her own in the outdoors...

Plus the vet cost for her alone has been more than Oren's...

I'm in a dilemma...

When we wanted to adopt Mia, I knew she looks wilder than other cats there and we were even advised to choose another cat... But my husband insisted on her due to her color and look... Sighhh... Now see what happened?

Baru think that we should've taken a kitten instead

yea getting kitten is better than adult. because you will know kitten behavior better than the adult one.

Mia is so similar to Adik. You imagine i have been taking care of Adik the orphan for 1 year + now imagine the problem you have happened to me for 1 year + already eheheheh.. She is ok with Abang, Kakak, Mya, and Sky. The cats she saw since kitten. but others, not really interested to be friends

Adik is a wild lone ranger, i do not have to stroke, play, feed her. She will do all that by her self. Very independent. And the good side of having her, she is the "makcik cleaner" ehehehehe. And the best part, she do not dare to scratch or bite me, maybe she know that i have been milking her since born.

Many people want to adopt Adik, but i do not give her out. Due to her extra marvelous behavior (kinda bad one), i do not dare the nightmare come to them, then the next day they leave adik outside. ouch!

Also if from kitten, you'll know the health better... Atleast it hasn't been eating any nonsense out there...

Does Adik have any health problems?

Is it easy to bathe her?

Even tho lone ranger, but you said she won't scratch you or bite you...

She's suppose to be on meds, and I can't get her to take it without being hurt at. I took her for check up and paid for the meds, I wouldn't do that if I don't care, right? I can't help her if she's like this...

I feel really bad if having to return her... I'd be labeled as irresponsible... But I can't afford to take up her like this...

Adik do not have health problems, among all, she has the less medication fees, only her spayed, vaccine, and deworm. Like Abang, he gone through the bladder stone and kurap, spayed, vaccine and deworm. While kakak, long time ago she fall + vaccine + deworm. So adik is the cheapest with no problem at all although she bring that wild genetic

Bath her is easy, like i mention before, Adik will still obey with me she is not that 100% corrupted lah. how wild she can be with a person so safe her life long time ago.

This is the special part of the story, if you get kitten. they know you, you know them better. 365+ days of getting to know each other

if im in your place, I will return Mia for good. Its good for you also. Beside, you have don't alot for the help. Take it as a "help" from you to Mia. Its not that you do not want her, but she is suitable for outdoor cat. Not indoor cat. It is not your fault to adopted her in first place, because you do not know her behavior yet. since you are into Indoor pet, i believe Mia is not suitable for you.

If you return her will they accept her again? Just remind the owner, don't let other people adopt Mia, just let Mia stay at that owner place. Im afraid, if other people adopt her, and cannot tahan with her, they will just dump Mia at the road side.

Dont feel so sad.. u can always train her.. I train all my cat and my friend cat too.. Be patient is important..

Dont let her to go out there.. I train my adult cat for almost a year only in the house to keep him stay away from all of bad food.. In the end he seems dont want to eat other than kibbles..

Bathing also important, i make myself free to bath him once a week eventhough he's staying indoor.. So he wont scared of water anymore..

If she's pregnant, 70% chances the kitten will have the same genetic behavior with her. So becareful, you do not want 1 wild mom + 5 wild kittens.

By the way sub_noob, you are the one that have miscarriage cat right? if yes, do you mind share the story. Like what happen during the miscarriage, whats the first sign, how you cat being acting that time, what happen after that, is the kitten come out?

Ohh, I guess altho she is a loner, but she's obedient to you when it comes to care... Not so hard lah...

If anyone can bathe Mia without getting something from her, then terror lah...

I don't know if they can accept her back or not cuz she was taken from the street by these people and kept until they can find a home for her... I will have to talk with them, which I am really scared to do

If I know anyone who keeps cats outdoor and can take her in, I'd give her to that person... But sadly I don't...

I don't know who will take her and what type of owner is suitable for her...

Would you wanna help me train Mia?

I'm not letting her go in the outdoors, but considering to return her to the shop where I adopt her.

She was a stray cat for over 2 years or god knows how long before these people took her in at the shop.

She is eating high quality kibbles and wet food with me. No more junk. But I do not know of her past.

I try to bathe her every week, but I will always end up getting scratched at and bitten... Ohh, not to mention nail trimming... That's to die for...
