when your cat age is 1 year plus, they do not much protein and fat in their daily food. If you see the kitten food back pack, the % is different from adult food.

yet you can still give your adult cat eat kitten food. some adult may vomit it, because they actually do not need much. while some cats are ok with kitten food. and adult cat easily get over weight with kitten food.

but why do you want to give kitten food to your adult cat? kitten food is much more expensive than adult food.

like me, i always wanted my cat to grew faster so i do not have to buy kitten food

Yes betul cakap krynz, the same like friskies and whiskas...

the tips to buy food.. check the ingredients, if the first 2/3 ingredients are grains or what so ever not related to meat.. reject it straight away. Like i mention before, its like feeding Roti Canai to a cat.

A) THIS IS FRISKIES INGREDIENTS
Ground yellow corn, corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, meat and bone meal, animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols (form of Vitamin E), soybean meal, animal liver flavor, phosphoric acid, calcium carbonate, salt, potassium chloride, oceanfish meal, albacore tuna meal, salmon meal, yellowfin tuna meal, crab meal, dried seaweed, choline chloride, taurine, zinc sulfate, added color (Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Red 40, Blue 2), ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, Vitamin E supplement, etc.

B) THIS IS ROYAL CANIN
Chicken, chicken meal, rice, corn gluten meal, chicken fat (naturally preserved with mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract and citric acid), corn, pea fiber, natural chicken flavor, dried egg powder, rice hulls, beet pulp (sugar removed), salmon oil, ground psyllium, soya oil, sodium silico aluminate, potassium chloride, fructo-oligosaccharides, etc.

C) THIS IS IAMS

Ok you see the first ingredients. Friskies gives Ground yellow corn. Royal canin and iams both giving Chicken. Cat food manufacturer normally listed it, from the MOST used, till the less used. Like all the vitamins below others important ingredients.
