Yes, it can.

This is because cat poo can house a certain bacteria that can effect pregnant women.

If you have a cat and a pregnant woman around, just make sure she does not do the litter cleaning and such. She needs to stay away as far she can from the litter tray.

Make sure also all the other people in the house who has done the litter cleaning to clean their hands properly before going near the pregnant woman.

But for clarification purposes, yes, it can do harm to a pregnant woman.

Goodness! If you really love your cat as you claim, you will not "buang" your cat just becuz she gets pregnant often, instead, you should have had her spayed.

Furthermore you "buang" her as an intact female cat, she will be getting pregnant more often out there and you don't know the fate of her kittens if they live or die or being abused. If you think carefully, somehow or rather it is related to you.

My mother-in-law's house cat got pregnant frequently too... So many kittens had to be rehomed and I helped looked for some too. Everyone back there had enough and wanted to "buang" her as well, but thinking about the situation above, I took her to the vet and had her spayed instead.

I don't want to be linked to the overpopulation of stray cats in this country. We already have far too many of it to handle.

you guys wanna see exotic STRAY cats? head over to shah alam, nearby the istana area or the seksyen 4 area. you'll see loadsa cats which the parents are a combo of exotic + street cat. ive once seen a bengal + persian. and there were scottish fold combo breed. loadsa stray long hair cats roaming around korek tong sampah tido in longkang.

ive took noticed of this 3 particular litter that's always lepak around. they're long haired stray. so after 1 week - no owner then i took them home. sold the 2 for rm300. another one jadi my pet.

before at my hometown, there's 3 female cats all bunting one. they give birth inside a longkang and its raining the next day, all the kittens die dy. kesian or.

now one of the female give birth inside my house, give birth to 4 kittens. 1 male and 3 female. i think they are still in my house at my hometown...haha

Thats like saying i really love my 4 year old son, but because he always demam i threw him out of the house....

If you son always demam its because you didn't take steps to try to prevent him from getting sick.
and instead of throwing him out of the house you should have taken him to a doctor for treatment.


If your cat always got pregnant its because you never took steps to prevent her from getting pregnant.
instead of throwing her away you should have taken her to a vet to be spayed.

Your actions are the actions of a cruel and irresponsible owner.

Totally agree with Cimredopyh. I think he/she do not have any idea on prevention yet. I hope with this thread, he/she can learn about spaying or neutering the cats in future.

If it's true they are mix breeds, chances of people being interested is high.

So pity lah like that.

That is also the result of people throwing out their cats... We have so many mix breed in our country that actually leads to the many confusion claims about their pet breed...

Spaying at Klinik Kembiri DBKL-SPCA is only RM65, while neutering is only RM45... A little cost that goes a long way...

ada sekor kucing beranak,sekor jer anak dia...
then the mother died...then my father took care of the kitten...
bagi susu,n all that...siap bawak balik kmpg...last2 anak kucing tu mati gak masa my family stop for shopping at macro(now dh jadi tesco extra,seremban)...my dad tak buang kucing yang dah mati tuh,dia bawak balik rumah n tanam elok2...
in my family,my late dad la yg sayang kucing the most...

yah, we suppose to bury them when they die. like giving them proper burial.

Uhhh...kesiannya dia.

My cat. Tom, die because he been attack by this evil black cat. We found him lay down under my mom's van. Poor him, must be painful for him.

Even though it must be a pain, he hide his wound from us. He lay down on it, we only notice it when my mom pick him up and turn him around. Waaa~

My other cat, MokMok, die because of poisoning. I think he silap eat some grass or he accidently eat something poison. Dunno la, unfortunately, I was not there when he died. I am at Melaka due to studying
