GL, yes, I agree Silver would place a bit more emphasis on treble. I prefer to have something more neutral like copper. The Neotech cable looks good actually! Take Five Audio also have Cardas Female RCA connectors for CAN$10.95 per pair. Vampire Cryo treated RCA is CAN$16.95. Quite a bit more than Neutrik but I wonder if it's worth it since gonna DIY once and then use for years... Or maybe can check if can bulk from Audio-GD if they're cheaper?

Abel, how does it sound now after burn in? I'm actually arranging to buy the IeGO cable coz they're Cryo treated and have very good review comparable with US$300 cable. But I still need 1 cable for my conditioner... unless I change my wall plate to US-type also...

Octave have Switchcraft RCA which is very good for CD, AMP or DAC, if is not misstaken is RM35 - RM40 per pic, Is you looking for better one you ask the Boss (Mr.Yap) to order the ETI RCA for you the RCA cause RM180 per pair.
Switchcraft RCA is much Natural & warm.
ETI RCA is more to Clearn, Dynamic, and fast signal pass to. 

It is depend what is lack out from your system, that is nothing is better and better, event you can use back your original RCA and change the signal cable to sliver or pure copper cable. that will give you alot improvement already.

Which Switchcraft RCA model are u refering to? Seems abit too overprice ... with than kind of money, can try the revolutionary Eichmann Bullet Plugs, i think Octave does carry these too, last time they quote me RM32 each ... after some extensive review by user around the globe, they really do HEAR some improvement over conventional rca plug ...

Echimen is ETI, i think you mention the one cost RM32 is switchcraft RCA (octave only have one Model) and normally we call Short head.
No more try cause i have been tried too many, i got furutech, WBT, AudioNote, Cardas, switchcraft & ETI.

For me i still prefer Point to Point, no RCA socket no RCA plug is the best.

Dun wasting time to try other OPAMP ask Chua to get the OPA Sun from Audio_gd and change the OPA powering caps to blackgate. It will give you a big impression on that.

Blackgate are expensive but the improvement is unbelievable.

ok thanks eddy but i cant use OPA sun due the original opamp is surface mount type and is located bottom of the PCB board.

At this moment, I just sit back and relax on the tweak to the ZERO. Never underestimate this little DAC can offer in sound quality.

We are talking about ZERO and the costs performance ratio it can provide. We are happy about it and it is not our interests to show other unit more superior.
