i got lubang to get Van Den Hul Royal Jade in quite good price ... RM 100 per meter u can check at outside the price i think is RM 130 per meter hurry while stock last hheheh
this cable give u a Plenty of detail and excitement. Soundstage is nice and deep and treble is never harsh or rough. A great upgrade for the budget restricted. This post has been edited by abel: Sep 24 2008, 07:03 PM |

QUOTE(RAV4 @ Sep 22 2008, 11:24 AM) Chua, thanks! Yes, the Neutrik RCA socket at farnell is really cheap at RM6.50 each. I wonder what's available at Octave so I don't have to wait for shipping. I was told they moved to a bungalow house near Amcorp Mall, is that correct? Hi RAV4,GL, yes, I agree Silver would place a bit more emphasis on treble. I prefer to have something more neutral like copper. The Neotech cable looks good actually! Take Five Audio also have Cardas Female RCA connectors for CAN$10.95 per pair. Vampire Cryo treated RCA is CAN$16.95. Quite a bit more than Neutrik but I wonder if it's worth it since gonna DIY once and then use for years... Or maybe can check if can bulk from Audio-GD if they're cheaper? Abel, how does it sound now after burn in? I'm actually arranging to buy the IeGO cable coz they're Cryo treated and have very good review comparable with US$300 cable. But I still need 1 cable for my conditioner... unless I change my wall plate to US-type also... Octave have Switchcraft RCA which is very good for CD, AMP or DAC, if is not misstaken is RM35 - RM40 per pic, Is you looking for better one you ask the Boss (Mr.Yap) to order the ETI RCA for you the RCA cause RM180 per pair. Switchcraft RCA is much Natural & warm. ETI RCA is more to Clearn, Dynamic, and fast signal pass to. It is depend what is lack out from your system, that is nothing is better and better, event you can use back your original RCA and change the signal cable to sliver or pure copper cable. that will give you alot improvement already. Thanks Eddy Lim |

QUOTE(eddylws @ Sep 25 2008, 12:02 AM) Hi RAV4, Which Switchcraft RCA model are u refering to? Seems abit too overprice ... with than kind of money, can try the revolutionary Eichmann Bullet Plugs, i think Octave does carry these too, last time they quote me RM32 each ... after some extensive review by user around the globe, they really do HEAR some improvement over conventional rca plug ...Octave have Switchcraft RCA which is very good for CD, AMP or DAC, if is not misstaken is RM35 - RM40 per pic, Is you looking for better one you ask the Boss (Mr.Yap) to order the ETI RCA for you the RCA cause RM180 per pair. HI GodLuvSxS,Eddy, if possible please do try this, worth a gamble! Echimen is ETI, i think you mention the one cost RM32 is switchcraft RCA (octave only have one Model) and normally we call Short head. No more try cause i have been tried too many, i got furutech, WBT, AudioNote, Cardas, switchcraft & ETI. For me i still prefer Point to Point, no RCA socket no RCA plug is the best. Eddy Lim Looks like the Sifu has spoken. Dont play play with eddylws. he is the Blackgate blackbelt and master of all TDA 154X cdp. Frankly the RCA given by Audio-gd is top class. Just a simple upgrade on RCA and pure 99.99 % silver cable is enuf to I am surprised by the sound. It gives me the soundstage that I like and more transparent. I like the look of switchcraft, but I am kind of reserve on its build quality. It doesnt look solid to me. Though neutrik look solid, but I am not sure if the sound will impress. Hi Chua,
Friend dun put me on top of the “GOD Table” I am not an expert or Master in TDA5141, I Just like the character of BlackGate Cap & TDA1541. From my experience those transparency & soundstage is given by the pure silver cable, but would you feel that after installed the sliver cable you can hear a lot of ssss from female vocal. FYI, the Sliver cable need 500 hours for run in, then only it will get more neutral. If you want to try copper I have some 0.26mm/0.1mm Oyaide 4N pure copper, I believe the one that you bought from octave is 0.3mm sliver cable. Dun depend on the outlook to judge the thing whether good or not, you must try it and feel it. Hehe.. This post has been edited by eddylws: Sep 26 2008, 11:23 AM |

At this moment, I just sit back and relax on the tweak to the ZERO. Never underestimate this little DAC can offer in sound quality.

We are talking about ZERO and the costs performance ratio it can provide. We are happy about it and it is not our interests to show other unit more superior.
Hi Madmen, Can I borrow your ZERO for a test. It seems your mod is very interesting, and I would like to compare it with the OPA Earth on it. This post has been edited by ccschua: Sep 27 2008, 05:53 PM |
