Still don't have mobo to play with haha.
Can't find out what memory chip is used, the chip all printed with OCZ logo. Should be able to run stable at 1066mhz, they manage to go 1098Mhz on DK P35-T2R but must sacrifice the timing abit. This post has been edited by nles: Jan 22 2008, 08:39 PM |

Wow, I didn't know the Creative Gigaworks T20 costs almost RM500.
That is really expensive such a small speakers and one without subwoofer, no offense though. Truth be told, I have tested their Gigaworks 5.1 ProGamer and the other old version. Both sounds lovely when playing music and the bass was strong enough. Might want to audit this one too. |

i doubt that the temperature would be the same if you compare BT VX and Xigmatek both inside the casing(with sidepanel closed

I don't have a casing, so don't know how it will performs. I normally spread the thermal paste all over the IHS of proc evenly for maximum contact with HSF base, shouldn't be a problem. Wonder how much cooler it will be after lapped. Anyone have already lapped theirs?

I got the 2nd last unit, don't know who grab the last unit. My HSF just nicely touch the NB heatsink, no need to bent upwards, luckily. You may consider changing the NB heatsink.
My temp is idle 40c, full CPU load 63c [small test priming, not blend] @ 3.5Ghz 1.36v after full load in aircon room, naked system. Using AC MX-2. The fin just touch the NB heatsink without even have to bend upwards. Same case with my Blood Iron, also got the damn sticker. Will update you the temperature with TX-2.

Actually wish to grab a Hyper 212 for testing but local distro don't have stock, end up with Gemin II and Xigmatek S1283. Hyper 212 performance are quite good too, just wish that I can test it out.

since afew ppl request me to post my rig in CM690.. so i post 2 pic here... so dull isnt it?? no bling bling stuff, no money!
basically i will get rid of the IDE tmr, to sata DVDRW... hate IDE!!! Spent the whole day shopping today. Couldn't decide on which 1 to buy after shorlisting 4 brands n types of cheap cheap DSLR camera. This is what I decided on n brought home all the goodies. Lotsa goodies from Berjaya Times Square Sony Style center.  Lotsa freebies. Free Sony laptop bag, DSLR beginners guide book, calendar. It also comes with a DSLR course for beginners n Alpha Club membership where there's outings n gatherings. Bought the optional camera bag, 4gb Compact Flash card.  The camera unpacked at last.      Comparison shot of my old Olympus Semi Pro 350. Pictures a bit off as I took it with my iPhone. Just look at the size difference. Like King Kong n Diddy Kong standing next to each other. 1 more thg u can do is get rid of IDE cable... they are super ugly... or maybe u can use rounded IDE cable instead.... huhuhu eh i notice that u didnt use the cable management tie thg provided by CM(the black plastic) coz ur mobo too wide?? hey now u can start ur bling bling.. i want to make mine too soon after CNY.. its an audiophile level card...stereio output only...supposed to be good for beginner recording etc etc.
but truth be told i have no idea of the special features of this card... i only bought it because it has BOTH optical and coaxial SPDIF outputs. which is what i need. only using it as a transport to my external DAC. |
