Holy cow! I wish I cud get the Nano for rm200 oso. Then I can put 1 in bathroom, storeroom, garage, bedroom.

Ya lar. I damn frust coz spent rm819 for my Nano then that fella got it for rm200! I can buy 4 n put everywhere. kakakaka.

n still haf balance of rm19 to go mamak yum cha.

Spent the whole day shopping today. Couldn't decide on which 1 to buy after shorlisting 4 brands n types of cheap cheap DSLR camera. This is what I decided on n brought home all the goodies.

Lotsa freebies. Free Sony laptop bag, DSLR beginners guide book, calendar. It also comes with a DSLR course for beginners n Alpha Club membership where there's outings n gatherings. Bought the optional camera bag, 4gb Compact Flash card.

Ya, I actually kinda decided on the EOS 400D after shortlisting cameras from reading reviews n walking whole day. The other 2 I thought of was the Nikon D40X n Olympus 510. It was about 8pm n I had already decided to go back to Sg Wang to get the EOS, then my wife needed to go shopping in Times Square. So I wandered into SonyStyle n was shocked that the A200 was already on sale as they announced it on January 8 n sed shipping only in February. So I grabbed it instead of the EOS. I like the Alpha coz I read many reviews saying it's the perfect cam for SLR noobs like me. It also has a good spec sheet which has everything including the kitchen sink thrown in.

Here's what I bought today. I believe it's the 1st PINK Asus EeePC in the buy thread. WHagaggagagagaga.

it's for my daughter lar. So when I go to coffee shops with friends n chat for few hours they wont get bored coz they can have their own entertainment with Youtube, msn, games n all that. kekeke. But of course I use it too coz it's such a nice lil thing n really convenient for surfing round the house at anytime. It really is a brilliant thing. Boots up in 27 seconds n shuts down instantly. Microsoft shud learn a thing or 2 from Linux.

It's only rm1199. Extremely hard to find Pink color though. Everywhere oso got white n black. Few shops had green too. My daughter only wanted pink so I had to hunt for it like hell.

rm1199 is no warranty 1 u know? It's warranty from the shop for 1 year only, not Asus Msia. If u want Asus warranty set it's rm1299 n rm1399 for the 1 with webcam. I had no choice but to buy this no warranty set coz no other shops had pink color.

Well, I'm not too concerned about the warranty issue as 1 of my sponsors is also distro for Asus. I just wanted to warn normal end users.

No problem wat. 8gb USB thumbdrive now oni rm170. 2gb SD card oni rm70.
