I think thats really harsh. There is nothing wrong with singing a Christian song (this is America after all, and KLC is that all American girl personality), which was also good song by any measure.
I think its weeks like this which are the toughest. The ones who usually deliver consistent great performances visibly falter (Carly, Cook, Brooke), while the 'underdogs' blew it out of the water. Do you kick out the consistent ones over a poor performance, or punish an improving contestant? Tough pick.
Burga - who honestly thinks its Brooke's turn to go this week, as she has been rather boring the past few weeks.
It's totally okay with me if she wants to sing a Christian song. But it's the personality that matters, especially when it comes to an inspirational song like this, which I think she lacks.
The other time Castro sang "Hallelujah", he didn't just sang it well, but it felt heartfelt which comes hand in hand with that song choice. KLC for me, is just singing that song to draw votes, and not because she means it, just like the time she sang the "patriotic" song.
I think - Carly will be voted out this week. Sad, but most probable. And she really needs to listen to Simon's advice and find a new fashion consultant. I know she was trying to pull off a Freddie Mercury attire last night, but it was horrendous.
