do i need to buy at least 1000 lots ? is it a must ?
*
No.. 1000 lots is a lot of share if you know...
Now.. 1 lot = 100 shares.

Minimum is buying 1 lot of shares.
Maximum is 5000 lots / transaction..

If you order 10000 lots, then will have 2 transaction of 5000 lots

If you are selling 6000, it will break broken down to 5000/transaction and 1000/transaction.

Queries on how to interpret the bottom left table in share.

Anyone trade shares online? I am new to it, and there is something that caught my eye. How to I interpret the table which is available in the bottom left of table. Example of illustration, price of a share rm 0.8 0.9 1 how many sell quantity, rm1.1 1.2 1.3 how many buy quantity.

what i dont understand is, it wrote seller price at rm4.10.... buyer price at rm3.99.

what exactly does it means. someone sell at rm4.10? but if someone sells, then another will buy. so why call it seller price.

would anyone help answer my question. it got ignored. when i try to start a new topic outside to get attention. unfortunately, the moderator locked it.

ur quote (besides that, lets say u click a stock. then u see the stock chart. u would see the graph and remarks on the left.

seller price meaning is 4.10 is the sellers A want to let go its shares at this price.

buying price meaning is 3.99 is the price B buyers want to buy !!!!

conclusion is A and B person is not refering to the sales was transacted in between them.... it's only the queing to sell or buy..... they (shares) just sit in there if nobody want to cut q and buy at 4.10 (from seller A) or sell at 3.99 (to buyer B)

It basically just means that someone wants to buy at RM3.99 (buyer) and the seller wants to sell at RM4.10... The transaction is not matched yet... So, they are queing at the buy and sell queues...

Hi, wish to ask about trading.

If the price match for seller and buyer, what about the volume?

like Seller A wants to sell at 1.00 for 10lots but Buyer B wants to buy at 1.00 for 5 lots only.

If there is only 1 seller (Seller A) and 1 buyer (Buyer B), then Seller A can sell only 5 lots. The remaining 5 will be pending people to buy it.

Buyer B will buy all he/she wants.

I use 3 system CIMB, MAYBANK2U and OSK and also noticed the differing number. This is due to the streaming update.
CIMB ( maybe the same as your PBB) stop updating the numbers when there is no screen activity by the user and will only start to update after a refresh (ie need to change to another display before coming back to the same display)
Maybank2u don't have this problem but you get automatically logoff after a very shot time ... if you ignore the notice the streaming update continue correctly but you couldn't do anything without login in again...
OSK don't have these problems.

Which broker had you open with?
Different account have different procedures.
Do you open the a/c with a broker
If yes the easiest way to know is to ask the broker or call their help centre.

You can transfer to your own CDS even from different broker. You can get the receiving broker to do the registration for RM10 ( Every transfer you need to sign the transfer form)
You can also transfer to your those people you mention with a declaration( I think you can go to jail if you cheat)

If you use CIMB you can get it from stock Info.
If you want to get it easily you can get it from the Star Newspaper. U dont need to get a new paper. The old one is also there.
You can also go to www.bursamalaysia.com look at the listed company/annual report ( last few pages)
