From the information that I can gather... regardless of what region you download, you still need the Game ID and Konami ID, even for the public beta released in Europe region.

But, the thing is at the moment, the whole world is trying to access the Konami page, but still unable to.

where is this GAME ID tho? i only got the email with the code thingy..aww daymn!

The code thingy is used to obtain the game only. But to play, you need to register an online ID a.k.a. Game ID before you can start playing.

Later after you have updated to V1.01, you will see the login page for Game ID and password that you must enter before connecting to their server.

But thats for US region'lah. For Japan region, last time when I register they gave me Product Key, Game ID and Konami ID altogether.

Ya, Before the game launch, they're already pissing all their fans off. Quite stupid I think.

Those with valid keys? Sure.

Those via backdoor method? No sympathy from me there.

Yeah regardless of download method, the lack of access to konami ID is screwing everyone over.

i think konami are not ready for so much interest in their MGO beta.

last time when the put up servers for Subsistence Online, after the first few months, there were so few ppl playing that they close it down

Well the MGO Beta is meant for the US, Europe and Japan region only to begin with right? =/

wtf? then why the demo is available to us when we cant get the game id?

hrrmmss.. mine downloading the update a few hours already..still 0% too

There were a LOT of people playing Subsistence online, especially in US and EU.

We in LYN even had active players here, playing every weekend.

One of the reason they closed it was (besides it was free) because the servers were to host Portable Ops players.

And lets not forget, PS2 was already on its last legs when Subsistence was online.
